@Arun:

I think this is one of the most common problems with most of us...OUR FIANCEE SULKS WHEN WE GET TURNED ON FOR A CAR OR BIKE.smiley36.gif

What are the results of adding this K&N RC-1060 on the Pulsar(actually I don't know what it is,since never tried it out.so please tell me..smiley9.gif)

Is it preferable for a Pulsar 200 also??any advice about other mods for 200?

@Sb-Alto:

Your thinking is quite appreciable,even today also my garage has an old M800 parked at a corner(unused for about 2 years that's why I don't count it as my car)..but its never sold and daily washed only because its not a car for my papa,but its an emotion for him.

Just logged in to Ubuntu.com and found out about Ubuntu 11.04 . Unfortunately could not find the Order Free CD's option. The new version is definitely much better than the previous ones, as shown in the videos. It is codenamed as 'Natty Narwhal'

Update: The free Ubuntu CD shipping has now been stopped by the Canonical !driftpunk2011-05-01 18:29:45

@TSiVipul - Actually if u remember i was asking about a problem with my pulsar (engine oil gets dry). So i have asked my mechanic to work on the engine and then fix the K&N. I will update you on the results once i start using the bike after this Friday. As per the product information on the cover, it give more acceleration by sending clean air to the engine. And more than anything else, the music comes after adding the filter is so nice.

There is a bigger filter available from K&N for the bike with more capacity (more than 200cc). You can go for it. And adding a FFE will give a good result, but will create more problem with the cops. So think twice before going for such mods.

Reached Melbourne yesterday. Staying in a hotel in CBD area. The area is always packed with suited booted multinational executives and their highend executive cars.

Going on a small road trip to Great Ocean Road area tomorrow for a couple of days. It is about 250kms from Melb. Girlfriend has rented a car for us and she refuses to tell me which car it is. She is an enthusiast but doesn't know how to drive.

So basically I have no idea what I will be driving. Also will be dealing with this strange Melbourne traffic rule called 'hook turn' where if you have to turn right at an intersection you move to the extreme left lane and wait in the middle of the intersection until the light is green.

Got the keys of my friend's 2-months Old Ford Figo ZXi TDCi yesterday afternoon with Chance & time to drive it for 2-3hrs.

Rest Nothing is left to be expained.

Just enjoyed each & everybit of it in North India's Scorching summer but thankfully Ford Figo chiller AC have coverted my driving into a Pleasurable experience.

Got my Elantra serviced after almost 15 months. Had to wait long (2hours) as after delivery noted brakes were spongy and ineffective and took it back and they bled the brake lines of air and returned it, then it was fine. Bill Rs. 8553. The SA was rather apologetic for making me wait. It's running like new and looks new too.

That was a long hiatus DD after which your Elantra got serviced. Hope the car is performing well now and is ready to take you long distances.

Sorry for the B2B posts. Seagate 1TB stopped working 2 weeks back, handed the job to son to get it sorted out. No results. I sat down in front of my system in the comfort of my room got the warranty validated got the return order booked. Seagate has a great website where you can download software: Sea Tools and trouble shoot the device and if it isn't detected by the software it generates an error code and armed with it you can generate an order, for replacement of drive. It's covered for 5 years till 2015. I feel like I have achieved something, today. Only fly in the ointment is all the contents of the drive some real great movies downloaded over many days get's lost.

@sb-alto - An Interesting observation I made from your photo of the JNURM Tata Marcoplo bus-the instrument cluster is analog whereas it is LCD display in Marcopolo buses supplied to airlines for shuttle services in airport - pretty strange!

the VW van is actually   T3 van or caravelle produced right upto 2002 boasting one of the last air cooled rear engine designed vans by VW,

@ashikawa;

Haven't you opted for Seat covers(with horizontal stripes)?available at VW dealerships' date=' these are really good looking.

Anyways, post their pics on your Reader's Test team section.?
[/quote'] Actually those available with dealership costed 7k for beige and 7.5 for coco+ beige. I have checked them both and found overpriced. Now i got complete beige from outside with same material for 2.5k. Will post pics soon( camara batteries were down yesterday). Another thing i did not want a tight fit cover, instead i chosen loose fit. The one available at dealership was a tight fit. I did not want to spoil my OEM seats for that.

Back home. Reached last night. A good long holiday well spent.

The Great Ocean Road drive was amazing. Smooth mountainous roads with great twist and turns with the ocean on one side and the hills on the other.

Girlfriend had originally booked a Fiat 500 using discount a friend of her working for Telstra received with Avis. But they refused the discount when they found out that we aren't Telstra employees. Without the discount it was simply too expensive so decided to go for an economy model instead. Got the 2.0L i30 AT. Nothing too impressive about it except for the engine.
