The BOSE suspension

Recommended Posts

If ever you guys have heard about BOSE they are one of the best music audio engineers in the USA and have come out with a very sophisticated suspension system for cars.

just see this video for your self. The difference is amazing and BOSE needs to give license to all manufacturers to put this system in all types of vehicles, why should it be the zone of exclusive? check out this link http://in.youtube.com/watch?v=GWRS-u5uipM

I 've previously gone thru the BOSE suspension innovation study which is really a one of the kind of great revolution for upcoming Auto companies to implement such a kind of technology being suggested by an Indian and first lucky company "Mercedes" implemented this Technology in their wagons from 1984 .

The Bose's Technology for advance suspension management is one of the setup for a Body tilt prevention when a car undergone with irregular surface driving condition where which the whole Body is being controlled and pretends to not tilt at bumps and updown digs too. but the suspension itself controlled by an ECU HUB under which all the suspensions are connected by wire and Mechatronics applications.

I am afraid things are not that simple. There are too many vested interests.

Take a look at the Citroen DS of the mid 1950's. It had many innovations (hydropneumatique self levelling suspension, adjustable ground clearance,  etc.) which we do not see in cars even today. See the specs and road behaviour, you will not be amazed but astounded!

The new Bose suspension is really promising...I feel that, it really is going to change the way we thing about ride comfort and handling abilities...

Is there any idea about when the suspension system will be launched..?

I heard that, the testing was done, way back and there after, there is no info from BOSE about that. They might on the research for fine tuning the system.

I would'nt say that hydropneumatic and self levelling suspensions are not available on car, today most of the top end car have the above features. Yes for it's age it was advanced.

But obviously all technologies have some gestination time.

The Citroen in the video does pitches a lot fore & aft.

All these aspects probabaly need to be considered and hence so technologies make it some don't.

But here is to the BOSE system. it's quite recent, announced a few years back so hope fully will see it soon.
