Long Term Review: 2004 Accent CRDi

Recommended Posts

@anjan: Infact the difference is refinement in a 3 cylinder engine. Every time I would start/stop the engine' date=' it would vibrate. Mainly due to its imbalanced nature due to which it would also vibrate more than a 4 cylinder engine.

I agree with FRG; but passing noise is on the higher side in the CRDI Accent as compared to the petrol. The ride, clutch and brakes deteriorate with age in an Accent. Every Accent meets it's pothole, I guess, mine did too and the left: front and back shocks packed up. Brakes tend to fade and I felt the braking power was inadequate. Mine was an early Accent GLS that didn't have ABS. Had it for 6 years and drove 60,000 kms and sold it for 2.25 lakh. Bought it for 6.18 lakh.
