Forget the extravagant door arrangements and the concept car detailing, because the Crossman is the new maxi-sized Mini. With much of the styling carried over from the Mini and Clubman, it is quite hard to get a grip on the size of the new car, but it is noticeably bigger in all dimensions. The Crossman is wider, taller and 4.07m long, making it noticeably bigger than the 3.95m-long Clubman. This is off topic but I am just wondering do these concepts work. As in do they have a engine and does everything else work on them? Also what happens to concepts after they are made into production cars?

good question.!!...actually companies present thier concept cars mainly  to show their new technologies!...yes, they do have engines n everything like other real cars...but some of them are prototypes too!

Concepts very rarely come into production!..n if they come, then they are bit different from their concept version!smiley17.gif

So if the concept doesn't come into production or even if it does come into production, what happens to the original concept car? Is it kept by the company?
