smiley1.gifHi friends! This is the new facelifted Audi A6. Despite the continuous arrival of new cars for the past 12 months, the company has found out time to update its 5-Series, E-Class and Jaguar XF rival. With subtle revision of the exterior and interiors, the facelifted Audi A6 also comes with new petrol and diesel engines and enhanced safety equipment.Among the new engines is a supercharged 3.0 Litre V6 engine and a frugal 2.0 Litre turbodiesel engine for the corporate driver. The new force inducted petrol 3.0 Litre V6 TFSI makes a very healthy 286 bhp and 310 lb-ft of torque between 2500-4850 rpm. The power is enough to propel A6 from standing start to 100 kmph in 5.9 seconds and to a standard electrically limited top speed of 155 mph. The engine also returns 29.5 mpg in the combined driving cycle and CO2 emissions of just 219 g/km. The new petrol engine replaces the earlier 3.2 FSI V6 and the 4.2 Litre V8.The highly economical 2.0 Litre turbodiesel comes with a modest 135 bhp @ 4000 rpm and 235 lb-ft of torque at 1750 rpm enough for a 10.3 second run to 100 kph and a 129 mph top speed.smiley17.gif The performance figures wont set your pulse racing but then that

hey guys the new audi a6 looks exactly like should have diffrentiated a bit in its design...well i think audi's thinking with regards to petrol and diesel are quiet clear- according to them petrol engine is for those who want a car with good performance while diesel is for people who want good fuel economy...but 135 bhp is very less, even less than the 145 bhp of audi a4 and in the segment of a6 all diesel cars have power of more than 170 bhp !!!
