Silent Thunder
How about having an auto quiz guys? Here, you can ask any question regarding automobiles and have the other forum members answer them. The person answering the question can ask the next question if he/she wishes to. Clues can be allowed if the question is too tough. Now lets start, shall we? Heres my first question: This car was popularly known as "Tin Lizzy" and was introduced in 1908 by a non-European manufacturer. It had a semi-automatic transmission with a planetary gearbox but was not the first car to be mass-manufactured. What car am i talking about? Zavo
That would be Karl Benz in 1888,though the first company to MASS PRODUCE cars was Panhard et Levassor.. a french company in 1889.. followed up by Peugeot two or three years later. Come now.. something that makes me think a little please..... Zavo2007-10-02 18:50:
autowoman
Hey Zavo why dont you fire a question at us:)
Silent Thunder
Thats right. It would be great to have you ask us some questions, given that you are pretty much immersed in the auto sector.. But im afraid your previous answer was not the right one. I had asked about the first mass manufactured car, meaning the first car to be manufactured off an assembly line. Not the first car to be sold to the public. So you have an answer pending before you can fire your question..

Silent Thunder
Ok, heres a slightly simpler question: What is the name of Maruti 800 in Suzukis overseas markets? Well, the 800, Zen and the Alto are basically different generations of the same car in other markets. The Zen replaced the 800 and the Alto, the Zen elsewhere(which is not the case in India). But the key point is that the name was not Suzuki 800. What is the name of the car?
