Thats right Rssh. I came to know about this only today. The basic fuel cell was invented way back in 1839, but the limitations viz-a-viz IC engines have not been overcome till now. Still, fuel cell is a very promising concept and has great potential in the future ( i know i sound like some car company, but that is the truth..)

The first Land Rover was designed in 1947 in the United Kingdomon> (on the island

of Anglesey in Waleson>) by Maurice Wilks, chief designer at the

British car company Rover on his farm in Newborough, Anglesey.

It is said that he was inspired by an American World War II Jeep that he used

one summer at his holiday home in Waleson>. The first Land Rover

prototype 'centre steer' was built on a Jeep chassis..

Sorry for the delay with the answer everybody..

The car brand which has an inverted "tick" as its symbol is McLaren

(ok, not exactly, but you can recongnise it for sure)

As for Anjan's question, about 39 examples of the 250 GTO were built, so thats out of contention. Don't know about the Bentley, though

Sure.. Here's a straight forward one:

Which is the first ever "concept" car to be shown to public?

A concept car here refers to a one-off which need not necessarily make it to production.

Difficulty: Tough

Clue: It was from Buick..

Buick Y-job designed in the late 1930's (probably 1938)by  Harley Earl the General Motors designer

This was the first concept
