AUTOCAR PERFORMANCE SHOW 2008!!!

The performance show 08 is from 13-16 november and I think it will be on a really large scale this time. I visited  it last year with my mother and she enjoyed it so much that in October 08 she asked when is it .

Though I won't be able to come as my end semester exam are on 20th in Nagpur but I want all you car crazy fans to take your digi cams and head to the show.

Actually I had more personalised talks with hyundai head (don't remember his name) and saw the i10 first there. I went at the time of press so no crowd to speek of .Also the autocar guy made us enter as I was a forum member and we enjoyed like hell

What they mean are Airbag deployement systems. That includes sensors et all!! Alot of Major Auto Manufacturers come to these shows to find new and emerging technologies.

I just loved sitting inside the EWD Rolls Royce .I asked the guy that can I touch it and he said you can also sit inside it well the front was more comfy than the rear to me but it might be out of utter excitement that I might have misjudged sitting in a 4.5crore car.

yup!!!!really!??!..you sat in Rolls!!!great!!!!...i want to attend the performance show but ill also not be able to come there!...anyways!..will try next time!!

Rssh its nice that people there allow to sit in those expensive cars!...when i was at autoexpo 08, in ACi stall there was a blue lambo gallardo and a red ferrari F430 there!...n frankly speaking both of them were eating dust there!

..they were not maintained properly!..n i was surprised to see that!....and also no one was allowed to even touch any of them!

over here if there is any auto expo and they exhibit expensive cars, they don't let anybody touch it but can come close to take pics

May be I had gone in the press timing that why they allowed me to sit .Also BMW people allowed us to walk up the ramp and touch the car and also opened the bonnet on the 6 series and I saw the engine tucked to the rear part may be to do50:50 distribution also the rolls royce sport was good but the space wasn't anything to write home about.

this is gr8 news and rssh wow buddy u were a lucky guy that day to sit into that set of wheels. cool. cause ususally as all said they just let u take some pics but not to touch them but as  u say u were at press timing they might have allowed u.Isnt this a gr8 idea that we forum members should met like some auto expos together so that can interact with each other and know us better along with enjoying the automobiles exhibition.. what say guys!!!

I finally booked tickets for Mumbai.. I'll reach Dadar by train from Pune. Can someone please direct me what would be the best and cheapest way to reach the complex. And also since I bought the magazine, only I have a pass. Will the passes be easily available for my 4 other friends from outside the complex? And yeah, I also read ACi forum member got a little special treatment last year. Can I expect the same too?

From dadar, your best route is by Taxi. It shall cost you somewhere in the region of 60-70 bucks or so. Tell him to take it from Dharavi. After you reach, ask for me.
