Benefit may be limited to December only, so car makers may clear 2008 dead inventory.

 

They are a greedy bunch and may jackup prices in January again citing rising rupee exchnge rates, a la Honda

The fuel prices reduction and the cenvat cut favour car/bike purchases as manufacturers foresee dark clouds ahead during 2009!

God only knows how it will work out.The recession will now make them stoop to conquer. But we are sure that once the economy gets back rolling sometime after 2009, the prices will be jacked up both by the manufacturers and the government.
