fabia sportz ..>>

Not a chance, the topend 1.4 tdi sells for around 9 lakh, this must be in the region of 11 to 12 lakhs atleast. And those low pro tires won't make it here for sure..lest it will be a repeat of the story of the 'Princess and the pea'...your sacrum and ischial tuberosity will feel every pebble that you ride on.

With people cutting down on their budgets, premium hatches will feel the heat, so not the ideal time for Fabia Sportz! Instead Skoda should be thinking of reducing Fabia's price!

that was what people said when fabia was launched dat it wont sell....but its selling though not good no's but decent numbers....so the fabia sportz will also sell as its a product from a premium company in india....

THe Fabia Looks are simply good and the features it comes with is also good , but the only thing that people see is the pricing , the Purposeful high pricing by Skoda was not customer friendly moroever thier servicing and Spares are very high!

the Sports version does look good but could have been better by some add onns!but again one cannot expect the pricing to be lower, this is a Sports version hence the pricing would be around 50k rs costlier than the Regular version!

Cheers!

Yes, These are India Specific pics. They have been taken at the ACI Performance Show. The car will come in as it is shown, BUT, this is NOT the RS. This is the Skoda S-Line Version of the car. There is a difference between the S-Line and the RS. This variant will be available for Diesel too.

skoda are finally bringing down current tech to India - at least that's a step ahead. now let's hope they have the sense to price it right - given the not overwhelming response they have received to the fabia, and the current free maintenance plan, it would appear a price correction may be in the offing... diablo379892008-12-17 16:53:27

well a 1.9 l pd engine will endow good performance to the fabia but it will be intresting to see its pricing but being skoda it will be expensive...but skoda has just this 1.9 pd engine in their portfolio cause it powers the octavia, laura, now fabia and in europe all their cars come in this engine only !!!!

Come on people be realistic Skoda still thinks it has snob value like Honda in India they won't launch the sport (S line) in India and price could be 1000k+.

@Vineet off course it won't be a good buy.
