Should I Follow Pulsar's Owner Manual Recommendati

Recommended Posts

I own a Pulsar 180 DTS-i (LCD Speedometer) of Feb 2007.

In the Manual there is Periodic Maintenance Table. On top the table it is printed

"BAJAJ AUTO RECOMMENDS THE FOLLOWING PERIODIC PARTS REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR VEHICLE AS PER THE SCHEDULE"

In the table it is given that

 1. At 9500 to 10000kms, the Starter clutch bush set should be replaced.

 2. At 14500 to 15000 kms, the Bearing Cone Kit should be replaced.

 3. At 19500 to 20000 kms, the Clutch Plate and RearBrake Damper should be replaced.

 4. At 24500 to 25000 kms Carburettor insulators and Drive chain sprocket kit should be replaced.

CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS MEANT BY

    1. STARTER CLUTCH BUSH SET,

    2. BEARING CONE KIT

    3. REARBRAKE DAMPER,

    4. CARBURETTOR INSULATORS

AND IS IT NECESSARY TO REPLACE THE ABOVE MATERIALS AT THE ABOVE SAID INTERVALS?
