mehul_bhp 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2009 @ solanki...dude..86bhp is also a good mount of power... its just that the gear ratios are suitable just for the city driving... it just doesnt have the punch.. even NHC was 77bhp..but it was better in terms of performance.. and also the fact that linea weighs around 1200 kgs while the nhc with idsi engine weighed around 1050 kgs...bt i have driven the nhc which had 77 bhp and i found the pickup not that good ...infact it was feeling only slightly more powerful compared 2 my zen !!! tanmay87 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2009 @ spearhead : I have a Altis and i normally use 5th gear after crossing a speed of around 50, so it shows me around 13 overall. But it's good that it is showing you 10 even after stretching it to it's limits.

As i have booked a linea will get the delivery in mid april, and today my dealer infomred me that the price are going to go up by 15k. but called the other dealers, they said they are not aware about this. as Solanki u work in fiat: is it good to do a 1500kms trip in a new linea (petrol) before the first service. as i am planning to do as soon as i take my new car. Bingo , i have also read each and every post of every Linea thread and with 100 % AC , they have claimed 11+ in city drive. 9 km/l posts may be very few. My friend nearby my house bought a Petrol Linea , after taking Delivery he has run around 150 Km/s with AC. His MY CAR is showing 12.1 , even if we subtract -1. That gives 11 which is fair for a car which has not completed its Run in and First service, Nimesh did you get the car's Delivery. I think you chose White color. nim12esh 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2009 Nimesh did you get the car's Delivery. I think you chose White color. No, not yet. But my car has reached the dealership and I have checked it out. It looks beautiful. But the delivery would take another week because of the recent bank holidays and absence of online registration at the dealership. We have seen a member like you in the past, his job was to bash and bash and bash Fiat and Linea and you are caryying the torch here again. Neither you will buy a Honda city nor put a review, again and when 7-9 members will ask you for it you will vanish from the forum. You know what- Linea hasnt sold at all till now, 5500-6000 cars have been sold so far and seems they have gone underground as you cant see them. Am daily seeind 2-3 Lineas and as Sarabjeet says he also is seeing the Linea. Only new ID's are not able to spot Linea
sgiitk 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 Success or failure can hardly be judged until a car has been in the hands of customers for at least a year. Also, in this case there is another big question mark - Have Tata-FIAT managed to take care oof the support issue?

Also' date=' in this case there is another big question mark - Have Tata-FIAT managed to take care oof the support issue?[/quote'] People on the other forum (team bhp) have gone through 1st services as well and till now not a single soul has complained of a shoddy service. There is a member (only 1) who Linea got rattles, FIAT sent a special person to his city to his service centre to rectify the problem as Tata wasnt able to locate rattle area though they fixed many rattles. Everyone is happy so far with the car as well as A.S.S. Anything else, time will tell. Am also goin for 1st servic end of june.

5u3zEr0 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 Its easily a success to me if not a big success. There are Linea's everywhere on the roads, hell man I have seen them even on highways. And in so many colours but I think burgundy is a big hit! Its a pity it does not have a powerful version.5u3zEr02009-06-09 13:09:
rssh 59 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 I think Linea wasn't ment for sucess it was a volume stepping stone for Fiat in India so change its image and it being car of India 09 has proved itself and I think it has achieved sucess which is way above Fiats expectation and simply the Diesel is the most popular and is considered a VFM . It has thrashed its competition especially the VErna and Fiesta diesels.
