I own a Linea petrol and I can assure you that it is indeed a very brilliant package. The engine opens up nicely after around 700 kms. and then onwards it is a treat to drive. I guess it is presently the best VFM car in India. Honda Jazz at 7 lakhs base price ex showroom is horribly overpriced. I would suggest you to go and have a look at Linea. It is truly worth its price.

@Laveen: Between Linea and SX4' date=' I think the SX4 is a well rounded package. The Linea petrol need's a bigger heart.

I know linea is a wonderful car and everything, but is it really a success story? As the dust settles after its launch its sales have gone down to 900-1000 units a month which every sedan in its competition is bettering. So it is getting beaten by the competition early into the game, which makes me think that all the hoopla about lineas success was actually success or just applauding the wonderful car for being able to go away from the showrooms a little bit.

This is by no means a criticism of linea.
