tanmay87
Swift is good in almost all aspects but it's not that comfortable. If you consider i10 kappa, the only flaw is that it's a little pricey. Vista has better quality than previous Indica's and it has lots of space. I don't like A-star much, it has good ride and handling though and FE is slightly more than i10 but doesn't look good(atleast to me), rear seat is too cramped and boot space is limited too. jbond830
I seriously wonder why people underestimate the value of the Indica Vista. Some rank it so terribly. I doubt, If they have even had a look at the real car. When I test drove the Vista, it felt like driving those SUV type cars. Huge stance, clear view of the road, and undettered by those big bumps and pot holes.

sujith3120
swift is my no 1 choice for its looks, decent vfm and a great driver's car. it also has a fantastic driver's seating position.the only draw back is the rear seat, which is not all that cramped compared to i10, but the rear windows are small, so that sort of creates a cramped feeling. i10 comes second coz it has pretty good interiors has very versatile variants, 2 engine options, automatic etc. h/ever i dont feel great in the driver's seat and the car does not look radical. a-star has to be third coz of the space that it offers. but the interiors look good, it reminds me of the old zen! vista comes 4th and last not because it lacks features, but the fact that tatas have always given importance to their diesel variants and they never promote their petrol variants in a big way..so you may even enjoy the car better than the above three, but when you sell you will lose a lot more! the re-sale value of petrol tata cars are pathetic and will remain so forever until tata gives equal push to both. rahul1810
I think the reason Tata gave preference to diesel cars is cos they did not have good petrol engines. Now that they have got one i think that they will concentrate on that too
rahul1810
If its a diesel I would rate Swift above Vista. Both have the same engine and not so good build quality and Vista scores over Swift in the size department but Swift scores in a more peace of mind ownership experience, looks(vista is not that bad but cant beat the swift espescially in white). So if rear space is not a big concern (swift is adequate) I think its Swift in the diesel. If its a petrol I would say its Swift, i10=Vista, A-star. Everybody who talks about comparing Swift and i10 just talks about not so good build quality of Swift. I agree that Swift does not have a very good build quality, it rattles, but these are thing you can get used to. You cant just sit in a car for 15 minutes and say that the rattling is unbearable. When it comes to i10 and Vista, i10 scores in build quality and A.S.S. alone. Both have very good engines but Vista comes up is the very big difference in space (atleast you feel so). I had once went shopping with my friends in an i10 and it was difficult to seat 3 abreast at rear. Not such a big problem in Vista. So again if space is not your concern go for i10 over Vista. A-star is last because of shockingly less space. It has good interiors and has the best fuel efficency of the four but this much lack of space will concern anybody except those without any family to carry. The boot is adequate only for shopping trips and not highway trips. No rear space, no boot space Maruti has done some magic here by vanishing all the space. Also the oddball design doesnt inspire me much. So these are my personal opinions about these cars
