Hi Afzal, higher torque at lower RPM is helpful in City driving conditions where one needs instant acceleration. For highways High torque at higher RPM is beneficial.

Do you mean Torque and ps.

Torque and rpm in performance vehicles in my opinion should be higher at lower rpm and should then stay flat till the max rpm range.

Usually more torque at lower rpm is for load pulling conditions and higher torque at lower rpm is for higher top end speed. 80% of the torque between 500 to 2000 rpm in trucks is available for load pulling.

dear frienf if your vehicle have higher torque at lower rpm then you will not get jerky ride at lower gears while driving at very slow speed. the still high torque at high rpm meaNS YOU HAVE ENOUGH POWER LEFT WITH YOURSELF TO ACCELERATE FURTHER MORE.
