Hi Team' date='
I hear a noise when I apply break at slow speed... I do hear the noise when the car is above to stop... what could be the problem?[/quote']

If its a screaching sound then check the Break shoes. Might seek replacement.

It is a Screaching noise' date=' but I hear it from the front right side!!! The car is just 11 months old.. it is a swift VDI[/quote']

Does it comes even when you reverse the car. If there comes a noise when you reverse the car even without applying brakes, Its for sure a break shoe pads issue.

No, the does not come without applying break, that too very specific is while at slow speed.. which is before the car stops completly...

I dont get the noise if I am applying break at normal speed...

There are two possibilities.

1. The brakes are squealing: Cleaning the discs and pads MAY help.

2. It is the brake wear indicator. Most disc pads have small metal clips which start rubbing the disc when they are getting worn. If you have done 20000km or more I will suspect this.
