Source TB.sidindica... thnx buddy.[/quote'] hey rssh, quoted the post just for you. you're over estimating to a great great extent. when you're showing HONDA CITY at 11 lacs , where will CIVIC go ?they both will cannibalize each others sales. so there is slight variation in the prices, not that much that you're quoting. and moreover you're saying HONDA is in indian heads. Dude, they've earned the place. they've earned the market. they're not like the fiat and the tata. ever seen a HONDA car stalled on the highway ?? NEVER.. bossottoelango 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2009 Launching JAZZ was a marketing strategy for Honda to improve sales of CITY rather than improve sales of JAZZ itself. Honda knows pretty well that Indians look for Value for money cars even in premium segment. By putting JAZZ with CITY in the same showroom, they made sure value difference will push customers towards CITY... All this, at the cost of few Rich Indians who always buy any BIG BRAND car at any price without looking at value for money.

bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted September 8, 2009 Nothing new, even the it looks almost same and USB nowadays isnt a big deal, but it would have been good if they had given cruise control in S variant too. A very good car but in the hands of Honda that means no equipment and high price. I still love this car and will always but probably will not buy one. jimgeo 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 HONDA JAZZ SALES DECLINING Yes, that is right. After all the drama and countless inquiries, sales of the Honda Jazz resembles the opening of a pepsi cola bottle. Experts believe that despite its costly platform, roomy interiors and Honda badge slapped inside and out, it is unable to give competition to other cheaper alternatives, ie- can
BonFre 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Interesting but expected! Why? because I went to a Honda dealership a couple of days back to check out the Jazz. Its designing is clever sticking to the Honda philosophy - "small on the outside, big on the inside"! Still Im not a big fan of this concept, I mean it robs the car of its character, that ultra small bonnet is not an enthusiasts cup of tea. On the insides, room for the driver is restricted, my knees were touching the front dashboard facia. I couldn't just get comfy. behing the wheel. What more does this car offer than the competition, "Price & only price"! Small car space is an intensly fought battle with companies dishing out their best, competition offers what Jazz does & with an added benifit of Diesels. I don't see much of a chance for Jazz, till Honda drops its price tag drastically.
asethi919 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 The car is certainly more clever than its competitors and is basically a superior car in every aspect when compared to the i20, punto, fabia etc. Yes, the luxury and safety features offered in the car are amazing and yes, the interior space and design is unbelievable but that does not exactly attract the buyers in the same way as a boot and those futeristic looks of the City would do. Honda needs to get in a better engine or improve the performance in this one and get the price down.

sgiitk 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 I think whenever a new car is launched there is a pent up demand, soem sales also to those who want to flaunt the new kid on the block. Once this is met the demand drops. Only after a few more months do you know the true trend.
JDrive 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 Its definitely arrogant pricing from Honda for Jazz. Just because all your other products are selling good, you cant take indian customers for granted. Honda will learn it the hard way from Jazz.
