bratitude 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2009 Hey guys. I need your help.. You know i had heard about hyundai bieng a great company, having a good network, churning out good cars, giving good after sales service. Thats why i decided to buy a Hyundai car. Little did i know that my first experience with hyundai would be pathetic like this... The thing is I Booked a Getz Diesel Crdi with M/s A 1 Auto Pvt. Ltd, Located at Saki Naka, Andheri East, Mumbai on 30th June, 2009 by paying the advance money of Rs.50,000. The dealer gave me a good package deal and informed me that the delivery would take place around 15th July 2009. But on 11th July they called me and informed that the company i.e. Hyundai Motors India Ltd had discontinued the said model that I have booked, coz they have launched the i20 diesel. Since then I have been trying to know the reason as to how it is possible that after booking the car the dealer informs in a very strange way that the model is discontinued. It is just not possible, as a policy matter Hyundai has to inform in prior when they would be discontinuing any model so that dealers don
sgiitk 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2009 They must have been hoping to sell you one of the remaining stock from the yard, and there was none left!

lovemycar 1 Report post Posted July 24, 2009 if they are not responding you properly as per commitment, sue them in court with proofs.... it is the case of MRTP.. No dealer or company is authorized to cheat customer or sell their product by manipulating....... Follow the steps, First find out online Telephone Nos. : 1800-11-4645 (Toll Free - Only from MTNL & BSNL numbers)098-7356-4645 (For all GSM Connections / Landline other than MTNL & BSNL numbers) Email Id. : cr@hmil.net If they ppl show ability to satisfy you then OK, otherwise sue them in consumer court........ And as per advice by CC try to change ur mind towards i20 dsl if & only if u can sacrifice more money......... I know it is difficult to get same package in same cost. Otherwise company & dealer are completely responsible for this incident.

FuelRunGod 200 Report post Posted July 24, 2009 It could have been a mistake but it could also be that the car they reserved for you was sold to someone else. I don't think you can do much. If you want the Getz CRDI, try looking at other dealers that might still have some stock left. Check with Hyundai Motor Plaza. If not, ask the dealer to give you a good discount on the i20 diesel as compensation for their goof up. If nothing works out, write in to helpline@autocarindia.com FRGFuelRunGod2009-07-24 20:47:

bratitude 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2009 I have checked with shreenath hyundai @ andheri(w) and Modi Hyundai @ Malad. But the problem is previously there was a special offer going on for the Getz Crdi coz of wich i was getting the car for 5.75 lacs on road... but now the other dealers are quoting a price of 6.15 lacs on road. and they also dont have any stock with them. they told me the car will come from chennai and it will take approx 2 weeks. sharash 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2009 I understand that the price of the car is fixed when you book the car. So when the car was 5.75 Lakhs when you booked it, i think you are entitled to get the car at that price only!!
