speed 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2009 Saw the Fortuner today but unexpectedly was unimpressed. From the outside its big & bulky, as SUV's should be & doesn't escape the old school looks, good for many but as you step inside, things are in for a shock. First of all, to get in one has to really stretch, its not as easy as Innova. Then the interiors are lacklustre, I might even find Ccorpio's a tad better. Driving position isn't great & the legroom in 2nd row is nothing to talk about. Overall, its the interiors that let the package down considerably. At such high price, its normal to expect better interiors.
5u3zEr0 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2009 18.45 lakhs ex-showroom would be around 20L on road in Delhi and close to 21L in TN. In the looks department and comparing only the diesels the Captiva looks much better and has great street presence. Reading the reviews here for the interior, the Captiva will beat it in the interiors department easily. I don't think Endeavour is competition for the Fortuner and knowing we Indians, a Toyota with diesel will sell easily......Remember the ugly looking Qualis with the ugly interiors! Waiting to see one on Madras's roads.
