It is in Maruti's best interest to launch the Vitara diesel version as soon as possible. The Endeavour and the Fortuner already have diesel versions. Honda might give the CRV a diesel heart soon.

The Grand Vitara is a good car. MSIL can certainly pull in better numbers with the 1.9 diesel.
