thanx cyrus, although i doubt whether this will do any good to nissan. i feelthey will directly launch the next-gen micra in india. and that too at a time when polo and beat will already be there, along with the current hatches. so the pie will almost be finished when nissan thinks it has arrived

I wonder why cant Nissan give us actual pics of the car instead of[bCARTOONS

Nissan says it will build a Sedan version of it.

That is sheer RIDICULOUSNESS

Can anyone of you imagine buying a sedan version of A-Star.

The very idea sounds foolish.

Great cyrus ..

waaooooo what a design.....superb.. but we have to see what comes to market in may 2010....... as maruti showed its A Star design & launched totally different model/design. hope nissan will not do so........

in first look cars looks hot bird...

hope nissan keeps its price in control...

The design sketch looks good. It seems Nissan has already started appointing dealers. The frugal 1.5 Renault engine is a perfect fit for the Micra, might even be the mileage king in its segment.

It will have to go head-on with the Swift. Any attempt to sell it as a premium hatch will spell doom for Nissan's first serious attempt at a mass produced car in India.

Its always production version will not be same as the concept.. But some how GMDAT has got the same as concept in the Chevy beat(Those head lamps).

Nissan has to come back long way to compit with MSIL & Hyundi..

no idea. is there a chance that nissan will launch the old micra in india mid 2010, and will produce this micra at chennai for export market (as it might not be cheap enough to sell here)?

Before letting loose your sarcasm, get your facts right. The Nissan Pixo is the car based on the A-Star platform and not the Micra which is under discussion here. The Micra can have a boot if the Swift can, since they are comparable in size.
