Is it possible fit an AC plug for laptop charging

Recommended Posts

I got one recently for my Xylo. Different wattages are available.  I took a 300 wattage one, sufficient for our laptop and my kid's sony PSP.  The product is excellent value.  Costing only 1,250/- it has one 5amp 3pin plug and a USB port on it's very compact well-designed metal-plastic body.  It draws power from the cigarette lighter slot in the vehicle.  The only down side is that the unit should be used only when the engine is on.  Never use it when the engine is off.  I got it in Chennai and most of the car accessory shops do stock them.  Before you buy, finalise your needs (how much wattange you need) first.

Thanks a lot guys. I guess, we can get one for below 1.5k, right?

Do I need to take any precautions other than those already mentioned above?

By the way, I haven't bought a car yet. But the one I'm planning to buy is a Chevy Spark LPG LS or Alto LXi. Indica V2 Diesel DLS is also down their in the list.. Haven't finalized yet..still continuing my research...
