carispassion 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2007 hehe.. i ahd taken a test drive of sx4 zxi. it fealt nice. engine is responsive than baleno(which i own) considering the wide tyres, we cant blame the ride comfort. not that its poor. it has 205 section tyres, but what the competition has, is maximum 185 section. honda city has only 175section tyres. the wide section tyres give sx4 good grip and handling, with that whopping 190mm ground clearence..!!!!!! mndvishnu 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2007 why ??? did u have any bad experiences with the ford servicing recently ??? Not me dude many customer here in my city are fed up going for the serivice of thier car to a ford dealer and evrytime they just getz shaved off and though the milage and looks of fiesta are good . the Owners of ford ( 90% ) never recomnd thier friends to go in for the ford whereas the owner of Hyundai , maruti , Honda , toyota recomnd thier friends to go in for the prospective car which they own, Cheers

pra2veen 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2007 yeah... but i think that was becoz of the previous reputation of the ford service with the ikons and escorts. its pretty much improved now and i personally think they're doin a better job than before. Good for them they will surely get more customers, by the way how is the Power 68 BhP need some more power to get the car reall going i guess? what do you feel about it? rssh 59 Report post Posted November 9, 2007 well fiesta diesel is quiet underpowered even the smaller swift has good power it is surviving because it has the most refined diesel.
pryas 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2007 come on rssh let the Owner say his Frank opinion about the Power and pick up of his Fiesta Diesel
pra2veen 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2007 i agree with rssh abt the fiesta. it is quite under-powered. but still, with the smoothness(refinement) and frugality of the engine, its worth a buy. and, as i mentioned before, its got a solid build to it. and abt the swift, its got plenty of power, enough for a hatchback of that size and that combined with refinement which is top class.how often do u get such a combination perfectly right ? pryas 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2007 yes soo praveen agreees that Fiesta d is Uderpowered thanks for yur honest reply about it and yes i have driven the Swift D of my friends and boy i was shocked weter it was petrol or diesel !! good for maruti they have kept everyhting right for the Swift D but one thing only a long long wait
pra2veen 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2007 i know.. the wait is horrible...my dad knew the manager of one of the dealers here and he got my car in a month.. but one of my frens booked it in jan and dint get the car till like june. that is such a turn-off
RacingForIndia 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2007 Nice review. As you mentioned the two cars are in different leagues and both offer good VFM
pra2veen 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2007 yeah... one of my friends managed to take my swift out for a short drive and banged it to a Luna. the front bumper got a couple of big dents on the side and bottom. i've got to see how much it's gonna cost me. it really hurts to see the car you love, screwed up in the first few months...
