It looks much more spacious than eeco. Being a TATA, we can assume it will be safer as compared to eeco. Looks good from inside.

When comparing Eeco to Venture, Safety could be a major factor. I doubt Venture could be adequately safe.

Venture is a new vehicle so i guess it would be better option compared to Eeco, as will be more spacious, better looking and safer too also with a diesel.

IMO a people mover should be adequately safe.  Imagine a whole family & more stuffed into this creature & a bang around the corner!

 

Other things namely VFM, Diesel, spacious, looks, etc. fall secondary to me. Prime concern among people haulers should be safety. If Venture is safe(which I don't know), its sure a big winner.

Breaking News:

Tata Venture will be coming with Tata's 1.4L TDi & DiCOR engine same as that in the Indica Vista TDi & Older Indica V2 DiCOR.

       -Source: TV Show on 17/01/2010(don't remember but its an ACI or an OD one !)

However, What'll be more interesting to see is the Amount of Vibrations & Noise by the engine when it'll be mounted under the Cabin as that of the in the Bonnet of the Indica Car !!

ENgine is placed in the middle, just like the Omni. It sure is a great example of platform sharing by Tata. They have lots of models but on the shared platforms

That's a question reserved for school kid's and vegetable's only they know about a Tata Ace/Magic. I don't think any sane person will use a Magic as personal transport. These contraptions are used for the 'mandi' and 'school' run

1.4L tdi engine is a good choice for Venture.

Its a hardy & old engine, local mechanics are familiar.

I guess they can do away with the noise, but the vibrations will be there to some extent. Only time will show what they do it.

In India, still Indica 'n Bolero are best sellers. So theres lot of people who  never care about the NVH, more so when it comes to Yellow boards.

Venture is getting stronger & stronger, mainly because of Eeco

 

No 7 seater AC in Eeco

No Diesel in Eeco

No PW in EEco

No head rests in back seats in Eeco

No comfortable seating in Eeco

Boring Interiors/ Exteriors in Eeco

 

If competition gets stiffer, they can even bring MJD in Venture, to control NVH & Refinment problems.
