anijog
From What I see of the tires, these are the replaced tires or the original onces. The groove depth seems ok, which brand are these. You will be surprised to learn that to keep the sticker price of the cars low mfgrs are stooping to unheard of lows by putting defective tires on the cars. My Indigo CS suffered steering wooble when it was just 5 months old. I got 4 tires replaced from JK but I now am waiting for the car to clock 17K mileage and by early 2010 I am going in for tires of my choice. Had enough of JK. You can replace all tires to Michelin or Yokos and maybe balance and align all the wheels during this change. I suspect the replaced tires are as bad as the originals. I don't beilive this what next mfgrs selling cars with wooden wheels, just because owners go in for their own accessories that does not mean that mfgrs should sell shoddy parts with the cars. dtandon
I looked at them and I can't really see any abnormal wear happening yet. Did you ever get the alignment checked outside of the A.S.S ? Please visit a good tyre dealer in your area and get the alignment checked with him. Take the alignment report and keep it with you to serve as proof.
Kinshuk
This is bad! Get the tyres inspected by your tyre's manuf., if they don't agree to do it, tell them that you'll even pay them to do it. Once they check, ask them to give you a report in writing. The more the reports the better it is. Once you have these reports approach Fiat with copies of these reports, ask them to replace the car otherwise you approach the court with this finding and in that case the court will not only have the vehicle replaced but also award damages for putting you through stress - so better you settle out of court. Put the media angle as well. There are several ways in which one can prove in the court that the episode has had a negative affect on you health (read more damages)! No worries you'll get this solved - will take some more time and tact.
rangc
Both the sets of pics of tyres running at 800 kms and 1200 kms does not show any uneven tyre wear. If it is dragging to one side, either the outer or the inner thread will wearout more than the other. If you have a professional wheel alignment shop in your city, try to get the alignment done by them coz not all the car dealers will have expert mechanics manning their wheel balancing/ alignment section. RKNG
take it easy boss...if you start nit picking then you can only have a prolonged sojourn at the dealership. In case you still feel unsatisifed, approach the consumer court and show proofs there..after all its better to express your greviences there instead of blowing steam here
