Mitsubishi's Innova killer launched in China

Recommended Posts

Is the Mitsubishi brass deliberately trying to destroy whatever limited hopes they have of succeeding in India?

Why do they not launch something like this in India instead of continuously trying to push the fairly old Cedia and the extremely old Lancer down our end.

This looks good and it can have good sales they should think of launching this here.

Wait a minute ! they were supposed to be launching the new Lancer in this year what happened to that.?

Well even if this one comes, no one will buy it against Innova because its not anything exclusive or way better than Innova, its just similar to Innova and no one will buy a Mitsubishi that has nothing new against the Toyota. Same happened with Cedia and Outlander too.

Mitsubishi has lost it all, no i have no hopes from them, Fiats are anyday better than them now because even now when all companies are coming here again or for first time with full bang like Fiat, VW, Nissan, etc Mitsubishi is still sleeping.

Mitsubhishi is 'dead meat' in India. It has very select niche clientele who are willing to pay a huge price and service cost for it's product's. It's not very serious about the Indian market; can't blame them what do you expect from a HM tie up. No 'normal' buyer will have a Mitsui product in his/her radar. The maintainence of their product's is also comparatively high compared to it's peer's.

It is sad to see Mitsubishi is dying in India even if they have competent products in their arsenal that can do good sales in India. They were one of the brands which could get a good share of the mid size sedan market in the second half of the 90s and early 2000s with their diesel Lancer. If they were on the right track on selecting and offering products to India they could have been a bigger player than Honda since they have the diesel advantage.

In Australia, Mitsubishi offers the best warranty in the market with their  "Diamond Advantage" which combines 10-year or 160,000km* Powertrain Warranty, a 5-year or 130,000km* new vehicle warranty, and a 5-year perforation warranty.

5-year roadside assist is also included, to cover any event of a breakdown, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Even the sales of Mitsubishi Lancer has gone very down, although I've not seen the charts of this month but its visible from the streets itself. I dont think Mitsubishi have much stake in Indian market now, they are soon going to be like GM, either withdraw or face bankruptcy.God Bless Mitsubishi

More the merrier.

One more option to choose, if such products are available.

It's an altogether different matter that no one is willing to buy anything from HM-Mitsubishi.

Why would anyone buy from them, when one can choose the market leader Toyota's best product Innova or a real VFM product like M&M's Xylo or wait for a couple of months for two more offerings in the same league ?

I do not know what was the response to Premier's RIO launch. Any one got any info ?
