325i 1 Report post Posted December 12, 2009 GM is planning to launch the Cruze automatic in the third week or end of January. It will NOT be launched at the Auto Expo. Company officials say that they don't want to take the focus of the Beat (launching on Jan 4th) and other products which will be displayed at the show. The Cruze will come with a 6-speed transmission but not extra features and is expected to cost Rs. 75k to 80k more than the manual version. BonFre 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2009 Wow, that's a very big scoop! Finally some much awaited competition to Laura DSG's. This move could also do away the lack of bottom end punch, many customers were complaining off.
Durango Dude 2 Report post Posted December 12, 2009 I think the Cruze needs an auto box badly, I think that would solve the problem of city driveability.
