sadsack 2 Report post Posted December 23, 2009 Hi Sivaraj, Let me make it very clear that this post of mine is not aimed at you. It is aimed at the source that you have mentioned. I do not know how NDTV and CNBC have come together for this but I guess you can tell us. Anyway the news does not seem the least bit credible. Bajaj has said no scooters, so no need to expect the Blade. The Kawasaki pricings are unbelievable. The En-6 at 4 lakhs? Then all those who bought the Ninja 250 R for 3 lakhs can cry their eyes out. The ZX-14 for 8.5 lakhs and the Z1000 for 10 lakhs? Since when did the Z 1000 cost more than the ZX-14? And if the ZX-14 retails for 8.5 lakhs, well I guess we will see more ZX-14s than any other bike and Ducati, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha et al can bid India goodbye. Too optimistic people. That list is not a proper compilation.sadsack2009-12-23 17:06:

rameshbabu.n 6 Report post Posted December 25, 2009 Thanks to this list, I can be `back in touch' with mobikes. After moving to four-wheelers, I left following everything and anything related to mobikes (except the Pulsar and Unicorn). Now is the time to get to know some basics about these new bikes. Thanks for the list dear.

-chumi_FXX 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2009 I doubt that the r-6 or cbr600rr would be launched in our country bcoz one of my friend told me that you cant import a bike below 800cc,correct me if i am wrong.
vajki 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 It is always a great experience for the people to know about the different types of new bikes in the market. It will really increase the demand of the people in finding the best things for others to select the best bikes in the outside. That is very useful to find the exact things for the people in searching for it.
designersf 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 I agree with sadsack. The list is full of errors and it looks like the prices of most bikes are import duty free! The Zx1000 should cost double that amount. Ans yes, as far as I know, you need to homologate a bike below 800cc if you want to sell it in India.
