I guess the stock wheels are 145/70R12 right .

For going in for tubeless tyres you need to repair the bent steel rims or go for alloy wheels right upsize will be 165/60R13 (with alloys ofcourse).

Alloys start at Rs10000 for aura ,neo etc. Good alloys will cost 16000 onwards. You may try 155/65 R13 73s by bridgestone (s332)

other good brands are michelin, apollo and MRF

Do not go for too wide tyres for they will affect FE

Set of four i mean. Aura and neo are priced in the 10000 to 12000 bracket. HR plati, league ,apollo wheelz will cost more. Starts from 15000 IN. Tubeless tyres provide better ride comfort and less puncture problems. So its better to go for tubeless. But you can still stick to tubed ones as they are cheaper.

MRF Bridgestone apollo wil cost around 2000-2500 per tyre. But do not buy tires without getting quotes from different dealers. Prices always vary and get it from one who is reputed in tire dealing and who asks for the cheapest price.

I found the lowest rates for Michelin was at Super Tyre Tec on JC road.

Sometimes I have got a lower rate from Milli visions but the problem is

that they only sell the Tyre, no fitting, alignment and balancing.

I have a another Idea if you go for a Tyre retreading you can save much money in the car performance and millage.

That is neither advisable nor safe. It is dangerous and can risk your life. Never do it.
