bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted January 10, 2010 I have posted the pics of MSIL and VW in their respective threads, but am posting the pics of Tata products here. The Tata pavilion was most exciting of all, it had more new products and had Fiat and JLR with them, truely international type pavilion with dedicated official merchandise shop. Tata Commercial vehicles - This time there were many companies with their new commercial vehicles but most interesting and good looking of them were Tata Prima. Tata Magic Iris Tata Hybrid Bus Tata Aria - This was the most interesting and most awaiting product and it looks fabulous. The fit & finish was good and colors were attractive, the alloys also complemented the car and interiors especially centre control was prado like and this car is huge. The interesting part was its bonnet is sedan like long and not too sloppy like innova or Xylo. However interior quality was average but its loaded with features like integrated GPS, 6airbags, infotainment, 4X4 drive, traction control, ESP, etc.

rahul1810 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2010 Does anybody else feels that Tata are overdoing the Chrome job on both Manza and Aria
bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted January 12, 2010 Well i liked the chrome touches on both Manza and Aria, they make the cars look more upmarket. And there are no thick chrome strips except on grille & thin stripes looks good. This Vista looked really good. Vista Electric Tata Nano's Tata Aria Tata's own version of JaguarThe Prima concept, It looked really good i hope Tata brings them soon. It looked no less than a Mini Jag. The Latest Jaguar XJ
bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted January 12, 2010 New Starbus Winger Ambulance Tata Venture - This was very exciting vehicle as its supposed to be Omni/Eeco competitor and was very well made. It looks good, it has family car type interiors and seating position and has a diesel and also to have good pricing. I hope it comes soon but with 2doors as contrary to 1 in this shown vehicle. Jaguars Now to Skoda Pavilion Skoda Yeti - Its sure to have gained lots of attention at the expo but launch is still far away, dont expect it before 2011 as told by Skoda people. And expect the fully loaded diesel version to come here with 4x4 & 4x2 options. Superb Combi Laura RS Fabia Greenline I have some pics of Superb but i guess no need of posting it here as there was nothing new in it. Now to Audi. Little OT, Audi has the best looking ladies with their attractive looking cars.bluesapphire2010-01-12 05:51:
bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted January 12, 2010 Some pics from Hero Honda pavilion. There was nothing new at the Hero Honda's but there pavilion was designed very well especially the fountain. Transparent ZMR Pics from Hyundai Pavilion. There was nothing new at Hyundai except the i10 electric, safety track for kids and imode concept, the stall was pretty dull and boring. Also they fools didnt even opened their cars for public like i20, verna, accent or even santro as if they were Rolls Royce. Even BMW or Merc have opened their most of cars for public to have check inside. The i mode concept. Hyundai Genesis Hyundai H1 - On asking i came to know that they are not planning to launch this anytime soon. It was just for display. Their current line up. This Verna was looking better with these alloys and some chrome touches. Some random pics. neerajd 7 Report post Posted January 12, 2010 Superb photographs here.. I just wish the Tata Venture comes to the markets very soon. Looks like a promising wagon. Also the Hyundai H-1. The Eeco on the other hand looks like a outdated model polished n kept up for display. Hope too see cars like Hyundai Genesis making a launch in India. The Tata Aria should be a good rival to the Innova. I just hope that the interiors come to the streets when it is launched. No carry forwards from the existing vehicles please. bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted January 12, 2010 Thanks Neeraj and yes you will see those interiors on Aria when launched as it was production vehicle. Some random pics. Now the Autocar India stall. Well no one was there from our Forum, i just saw Shapur Kotwal and other staffers who were there for subscription of Mag. Hero Electric This was a concept vehicle. Ex[ensive Cycles, anyone? Royal Enfield Cafe Racer Concept bluesapphire2010-01-12 10:08:
neerajd 7 Report post Posted January 12, 2010 @ bluesapphire: That is really good news. Checked out the whole thread today. Hyundai disappointed big time. Accent and the Santro making space? and I've never liked any of the Tata products till date, but the Aria and the Vista Concept S sure look good. Instead of coming up with black roof and golden emboss, Tata should look at the Vista Concept S for a Limited Edition that comes out every year.. A center console speedo for Toyota Etios - very unacceptable. I never appreciated it in the Spark either. The sedan looks no bigger then the Ikon.. and they're pricing it around 10?? I could not see any pics of the New Mahindra SUV that is on cards.. can anyone please confirm this? Suzuki Kizashi looks like a blown up SX4. The (original) SX4 hatch looks quite hot. Pricing around i20? There were rumors of the Suzuki Landy coming in as the Eeco. Would have been an interesting car to have on the Indian roads. Renault Fluence looks awesome - very French Polo looks refreshingly good to the eyes. Should make a splash in the market with its launch. The 1.6 diesel with 17" alloys is something I'd be looking forward to. Did not hear anything exciting from Honda either. Their concept looks good only as a concept Fiat was dazzling with Linea and the Punto sports model looked very down-market (my views). Linea is really a class apart car, with its looks, dynamics and the interiors. Did not like the BMW Grand Turismo.
rssh 59 Report post Posted January 12, 2010 I went to theexpoon Sunday and I also have many pics but the pics here are more better than mine all I can say is that the Camero and the F1 car were the show stoppers for me . The best though out space was of maruti and worst was hyundais and merc (merc think that weare poor people and were saying move on fast I couldn't get a good shot inspite lesser crowd in the morning at 9am, they talk about safety and the whole place was cramped. Aci stand looked deserted and lambo come on you should have got better coloured one people didn't look excited to see it.Thought the Ducatii1098 was really great. bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 Thanks CB & DD. Well yes there was too rush but for automobiles its worth it. I also attended the expo on 7th and was standing for business visitor batch for almost 2hrs that too i could attend only for 2hrs as i had to leave that day. Some pics from Mercedes Mercedes Bus C Class S Guard ML New GL - This SUV's doesnt looks great rather looks boxy and no stand against Q7. Now the attraction of Merc stall - The SLS Gullwing - It looks amazing. E coupe Now another Big German - BMW - Saw Adi Godrej(Chairman Godrej Group) at this stall. X6 - It looks really huge and great but headroom is not adequate. Gran Turismo - Not that great looking. Z4 - Looks stunning. X1 - This was most exciting BMW as its entry level luxury SUV and i think when launched will get good response, also looked really good. 7 Series 760Li individual bluesapphire2010-01-13 10:50:

designersf 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2010 The Showstopper for me was the awesome X6M. It makes a perfect vehicle for Indian conditions. Its got the looks and the performance and crucially high ground clearance so that it can be driven on any Indian roads.
bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted January 15, 2010 Well for more pics i have posted in respective threads like in Toyota, Honda, Honda 2wheelers, Bajaj, Chevrolet, Harley, etc so refer those if you are interested. Now some pics from Renault - Though i didnt expected but Renault stall was quite interesting but they will come with their new products only in last quarter of 2011 and not with Mahindra but through their global alliance with Nissan. The F1 Megane India Bound Koleos - Will come in around December 2011 to compete with the likes of Captiva. Was a good product but end-2011 is far away now. Renault Fluence - I dont know why it was not open for public, only then it could have gained more interest. It will also come around same time as Koleos. Renalut OK The no frills Logan - This one is co-branded by VIP luggage. I liked the color of car and its interiors, some nice touches are given. And you get the VIP set with this Logan, i think it should be other way around i.e a Logan with VIP set then only people will be interested in it...LOL Tata Prima
