bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted January 15, 2010 Now these are last set of pictures so we have come to end of journey now. Now we shall move to Mahindra & Mahindra - This time M&M was more interested in showing their Commercial vehicles with their partner Navistar. There was nothing special for passenger vehicles except Thar. Thar - I asked their vehicle department GM Mr. Behram Dhabhar(Now you know where does Cyrus has so much info about M&M, i guess he knows this person) that when can we expect this vehicle and at what price and his reply was sooner than you expect and competitive price, well as we know that Thar will have almost no competition so how can we arrive at competitive price since there is no competition or model to compare. The man standing next to Thar is Mr. Behram Dhabhar. Xylo celebration edition Scorpio Mahindra Navistar vehicles - These looks good still no comparision to Tata Prima. But i think these trucks will be much cheaper, if its true then are worth it. Now, the Gio - I found it great alternative to 3wheelers and doesnt looks that bad. Alfa Maxximo - Good that we are getting such a good new options for urban transport. Still i find Tata Ace best of lot. Maxximo - Snack on wheels Mahindra 2wheelers Volvo Ashok Leyland Volvo Eicher commercial vehicles JCB Diesel Max Electric Tara International Some Random pics. ---------------------Finish-------------------------- I strongly feel that Volvo cars, Nissan and Ford could have taken part as they dont have enough goodwill to sell their new products and thus they need to show their upcoming cars (read Micra & Figo) to people so as to gain interest, For me its just foolishness of them to not take part in such a big event. Also Mahindra could have showcased their upcoming World SUV even as a concept so as to gain interest and show their capabilities. I think they might be having a pre-production vehicle to atleast showcase. Edit - @Adit Mathur, well no regrets, even 2passes were of great favour to me. So no apologies please. I just cant think of completing the whole expo on 7th as i was supposed to because it was so big and time consuming and had no time due to train(although it was delayed from delhi by almost 6hours but i came to know only at the train timings so of no use) that even after getting pass for 6th, i had to visit for few hours on 7th.bluesapphire2010-01-15 10:31:
5u3zEr0 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2010 Hey BS, thanks for all the photo's man, it must be quite an effort posting them here. The Tata Prima trucks are nice and their drivers cabin is pretty good for Indian standards with two buds, steering mounted controls et al. The new Jaguar XJ, looks ultra sophisticated and that Yellow Laura RS is to die for man. Skoda please launch it quickly! The paint job on the SLS is really nice and different with its matte effect. And the DC Ying Yang looks cool and hep.
