sachins 51 Report post Posted October 20, 2011 A dampner !!! Well, just saw on TV, it has been recommended by economic advisory council to PM that Diesel rates should be deregulated as Petrol. If this happens then there would be an initial price hike of Rs 2.87/litre and then might follow similar trend as petrol. Also, there is talk of introducing extra tax on diesel cars. dr_nishu 198 Report post Posted May 25, 2012 Toyota Etios hits one-lakh sales mark Major India-expansion plans in the pipeline. Production capacity and dealership numbers to go up by early 2013. May 25, 2012 Toyota Etios and Etios Liva have crossed the one-lakh mark in terms of combined units sold. The Etios saloon, which was launched in December 2010, managed to clock 50,157 units in the FY 2011-12. The Etios Liva hatchback was launched in June 2011. Toyota started exporting the Etios to South Africa, with the first batch of cars shipped in April 2012. The company now plans to export 20,000 units of Etios and Liva annually. It also plans to ramp up the production of the Etios siblings at its second plant at Bidadi, from the current capacity of 1.2 lakh units to 2.1 lakh units by early 2013. Production of the engine and transmission for these cars will be carried out at Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts. By the second half of 2012, one-lakh engines will be produced per year, and around 2.4 lakh transmissions starting early 2013. This will help Toyota increase the localisation content of the Etios from 70 percent to around 90 percent. The Japanese carmaker is also planning to expand its dealer network from the current 175 outlets to 220 dealerships by early 2013. Toyota is now looking at setting up dealerships in the Tier II and Tier III cities. Sandeep Singh, deputy MD - marketing, Toyota, said,

lovemycar 1 Report post Posted March 3, 2013 Rs 50,000 and the minimum price cut on passenger cars (excluding Nano) will be around Rs 29,000. Tata Motors will hike UV prices by around Rs 50,000 to offset the hike in excise duty announced in the Union Budget. The Finance Minister had announced that the excise duty on SUVs will go up to 30 percent from 27 percent. Thus, the price of Sumo and Safari will go up by Rs 35,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively. lxtreme 80 Report post Posted October 26, 2013 this concept is awesome! let's see how this will be on the road. May Hyundai have a stiff suspension and make the ride more Better Yes, That's what Hyundai needs working with. Every Hyundai car except the Sonata and Santa Fe have very soft suspension. And the Handling is also below average.

Sudeep_Kimster 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2014 I could differentiate the Car from the Scorpio and Mahindra's S-101 Mule's due to the following points : 1. Tail Gate mounting of spare wheel was higher than Scorpio and a bit offset as in Bolero 2. The SUV was accompanied by a Scorpio and Quanto Mule, it was longer than Quanto but Smaller than Scorpio 3. Front Grill was curved with the traditional Mahindra grill, reminiscent of XUV 500 4. Scorpio mules had only the front and rear camouflaged as its a facelift but this SUV was completely covered with rear tail lamps similar to first generation Scorpio and Skinny tires as of Bolero Maxx
