Really looks like Scaled down GS150R, but looks Good anyways.

Actually, I'm also looking to buy some Adequately powered yet Ultra-Refined 125 or 150cc bike, as My Pulsar 180 really Annoys me while driving in very Crowded Market conditions due to its High-Power, Accelerating & Noisy engine.

Is there anything better in market than the Dazzler to fit your needs.

Hey same pinch dude..

Its on the top of my considerations list, but its lack of Sporty Driving position(at least foot-pegs, even if not the handlebar) worries me, as earlier i've kept/used Unicorn for 2 years, It was simply too boring to drive & even more on the long runs.

Just Wondering, why Honda have Omitted that Sporty Rear-Set foot pegs in their Dazzler, when their Stunner & even Twister(to a little bit) features it.

So now, I'm going to pick the one between Dazzler or Yam FZ-S

Or I've also heard that All-new Pulsar range(150,180) is also coming soon with 4-Valve heads & more Refinement, etc.

Any Info about them ??

i rate it the best after Karizma, as it has got the most relaxed driving position.

Who needs sporty driving position for long drive, Apache has this and it is a strict no for long drives, you will get your body pain in no time.

i would second Yam-S only if it gets a rear disc.

I know Relaxed driving position is good, especially for long drives but the fact is that Adding Little bit touch of Sportiness touch-feel, makes them Entertaining, Involving & Joy to drive, like Original Discover 125(IMO, it has got the Perfect driving position for every tyoe of Journey, even better than Pulsar interms of Comfort & Sportiness).

@Sandy: nice post.

This Slingshot appears to me as a derivative of GSR150 as far as looks are concerned: specially the tank & side panels.

Not sure how Indian customer will accept the the headlamp & instrumentation design. History suggests (post 2k)that completely covered bikini fairing is preferred by Indian customers. Yes, FZ-16 was an exception but it has a macho style to complement the rugged headlamp design.

As far as 8.5BHP engine is concerned it should belong to 100cc segment rather than 125cc.

Four stroke 125cc Suzuki Slingshot motorcycle, which carries a price tag of Rs 45,000, was unveiled in New Delhi on Wednesday. Tribune photo: Mukesh Aggarwal

Seen this in today's leading newspaper,

Pricing is also right i.e 45000(ex-showroom)

@mods: Please merge this thread with already existing thread on this same Topic,

The Slingshot looks good and well proportioned and the alloy wheel design is quite a relevation but look at the rear. One could fall asleep looking at itAnd the base model loses the alloy wheels and gets plain old steel spoke wheels which are not even finished in Black. When Sharing market space with the CBTwister, Suzuki really needs to try harder

hi friends,

this is my review after taking the delivery of my black slingshot yesterday. it was too late yesterday by the time i come home and today after riding the bike for a day these are my comments

i would have missed something, if i would have not taken the decision to buy this wonderful bike.

i took a black slingshot plus,drum,electric start

total on road price i paid is Rs.54015/- at malik suzuki, tolichowki hyderabad

i didn't realise that i reached home yesterday night, it was so superb to ride this bike for 15+ km just like that in the full of traffic..its awesome...drive

good seating position..with the seat curve gives you good lower back support.

with 3" wheels gives a very stable and comfort and confident ride....i was just cruising thru' the traffic very easily

a good power ...pick up for a 125cc bike and ofcourse..5 gear is a good option when you drive on a little bit free road..hence i feel this gives good mileage too

very good suspension on the rough roads...no tireness at all

looks are just superb that....everybody on the road started looking at my bike...good appreciation from friends and known..as it just got a fresh look....and a black color just steels anybodies heart...

good features on the console...with gear indicator...good indicator design...

gears are pretty soft....easy to change

good breaking even though it is drum brake one, i never felt single time...on disk breaks...

overall its a good impression...riding for a day..

regarding FE it takes some time for me ...and it is better to check after at least 2 service...

hope you enjoyed this report guys...and i suggest...just to go for this bike...

i will try to post some photographs in next two days..

thanks...

Think you should be able to post pictures here too.

Post the pictures in some server like Picasa and use the photo's link to add the pictures here. You may not be able to add pictures to the autocarindia server for sure.
