maverick786us
Its been almost a month, that polo TDI has been released, but I have'nt seen any good review on net? Is it worth buying? If we compare it with Figo TDI, which yields a better perfomance?
winner48
Polo TDi has been notified, not launched. It basically means that VW has confirmed that they will build the Polo TDi, but have actually not yet released the car in the open market, so no reviews. winner48
they must be testing the vehicle. I see no reason why all automotive journals will ignore such an imp. model. Anyways, i am not sure.

winner48
@ maverick Polo and figo are not in one segment. If you want to save some money, go for figo. If you want to spend money, go for i20, the BEST diesel hatch in the country now.
dr_nishu
@winner, Polo TDi is launched more than a month back in the Country, with the Price tag of: Polo TDi Trendline: 5.54 lacs, Comfortline: 6.04 lacs, Highline: 6.90 lacs. It's one of the best & high-quality Diesel hatchback with Class leading FE of 20-22+ kmpl(on highways) & isn't having the Clutter like 3-cyl Diesels though.. winner48
Less vibrations in 4 cylinders. 3 cylinders vibrate a lot.
dr_nishu
Seen Polo TDi Highline today in White Shade. Looks wise, With Low-Slung design it was just looking Awesome, White shade with VWs Excellent Finish is simply One of the Shade in the Polo. But even standing about 70-80 feet away from the Car, I've heard its CRDi Engine's Sharp Clatter very Clearly on its Starting from the Standstill. maverick786us
Less vibrations in 4 cylinders. 3 cylinders vibrate a lot. That SUX. I had so many hopes with Polo Diesel. but this impression of 3 cylinders have spoiled everything. Is it that bad??
dr_nishu
Don't get tad disappointed maverick.. No doubt Polo's is a 3-cylinder engined car, but the VW has done all the possible efforts to hide that 3-cyl egine's Traits under its Hood, like Noise, Vibrations, Jitter & Coarsenss & they've Succeeded to the Max in doing so & + effect of this being Polo diesel easily delievers 20-25kmpl in Routine driving ion Highways & is able to Clock 160kmph very easily in very Relaxed Manner. Even their In-Cabin Insulation is Excellent & absolutely Flaw-less, which further Filters out all the Road & Engine happenings. Truly German Engineering.. Do Test Drive her to know & feel it... But what do you think after travelling 20,000 KM will its true noise and vibration show up

I don't think so.. European companies makes One of the Finest diesel engines in the World & VW is one of the makers from them. So nothing Bad or worst is expected from them. Also read reviews of some of the Polo TDi owners at some other Forums who've already clocked 8-10k kms in their Polo Diesels & are 100% satisfied with them & telling there that their Polo TDis engines are getting better & better as they drive her more & more. Also for What the Warranty by the Manufacturer is ?? I think VW gives 2-years or Unlimited kms warranty & Extended Warranty option too. So nothing to Worry for that Span of time.
