My friend zeroing on i10..what are the offers?

Recommended Posts

One of my close friends is finalizing to purchase i10.Now, the car will be bought in Chennai. I would like to know about the offers, discounts and deals one could expect on i10. It would be helpful to know the good dealers in here, as we are new to the place.

Those who have recently purchased one, could really help in providing with the deal, they got and the dealership.

Well,

Exchange bonus is a must. Next comes a cash discount of Rs 10000 or so, or free insurance.

Unsure about other discounts, we must wait for the Gurus to answer.

One can not always expect a discount on a high-selling model, especially if it has a waiting list.

Hey,

There have been so many complaints about i10 mileage being low.

Also, I have heard of i20 AC is too weak.Till what extent it is true?

What could be the real-world FE figures that one could expect from i10 as well as i20 with AC?

Here are a few,

Exchange Bonus

This is normally given to people who exchange their old car to get a new one from the same dealer.( 5000 approx)

Dealer discount

This is given during festive seasons. ( in the range of 5000-10000 approx)

Insurance discounts

-NCB(If you already had another vehicle and have earned and have No Claim Bonus , you can transfer it to the new insurance provider to get some bonus)

    - Take insurance on your own instead of the showroom guys doing it for you.(You could save somewhere between 5000 to 9000Rs on this)

Freebies

            Floor Matt

            Mud Flaps

            Car Perfume

As of now, i10 is out, due to it's small size and uninspiring highway manners.

Now the competition is up between Figo, Swift and i20.

As the price constraint settles as 6l max. , i20 diesel could not be included. Since other two are diesel at that

price, i20 does not feels like a VFM buy as also it's AC and mileage issues.

So, the war is on between Figo and Swift.

Let's see who wins the title in this race?

Wait for new Swift is not possible in this case.

Is it worth going in for the older one at this point of time when :

1) It is going to be replaced soon.

2) It's on-road price is touching 6l.

3) The likes of Ford Figo are doing good numbers, and the fact that the car costs atleast some 60-70k less.

Any opinions??

I considered Swift, I20 & Figo and finally bought Manza. I20, A/C is very poor, FE is big issue plus its not value for money. Swift is outdated with no features. Figo is good, however lately heard many complained about FE, people got anything from 11 to 18 for diesel.

I vote in for the i10, but this website reports the arrival of new one this diwali and rendering of the spied test mule suggests the new one is much hotter.

Hey,

finally, the conclusion drawn and the dotted line signed.

And the winner comes out to be Hyundai i10.

We got a very tempting offer on the sportz model.

Booked the vehicle today, delivery is slotted for Thursday.

Looking forward to share the driving experience....!!
