dr_nishu 198 Report post Posted July 27, 2010 She's a Real break from the Micra's Round & round styling, eminent from its Bonnet, Grille & Rear Door design. But the boot seems to be Mix of Manza & Dzire, as it's long & Over-hanging like of Manza's & is Bangle-design cued like Dzire's. Lets see, how it'll look w/o these covers ! Till then Fingers Crossed..

Durango Dude 2 Report post Posted October 7, 2010 Looks like a mini Teana to me, wow real big overhangs and also long wheelbase.
AMG1 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2010 rear overhang looks a bit longer, maybe due to excessive covering to hide the real design. Looks good to me.. but a little like the prev generation honda city.

dr_nishu 198 Report post Posted November 7, 2010 The Chinese auto website Autohome is reporting the pics of the final product that is expected to international markets early next year. And by the looks of things we are really impressed. Although Nissan says that this is not a Micra sedan, the interiors are such a giveaway. The two differences we can spot are the square AC vents on the dash and twin dials (instead of one large and one small one) behind the steering wheel. Thankfully, Nissan has provided what looks like a AC vent between the front seats for the rear passengers. The exterior of the car is sort of a mash up of the Altima and the Teana. Nothing concrete can be said about the engine specs but we expect it to be powered by 1.6L petrol engine to producing round about 100 to 115 horses and the 1.5-liter diesel engine coaxing out 70bhp or so. There are some websites reporting dimensions of the car
driftpunk 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2010 Seems like a Nissan Sunny Coupe to me! The exterior design is good.

dr_nishu 198 Report post Posted November 19, 2010 What an Awesome looking car it is.. Nissan is successful in hiding the Over-Curvaceous & bulbulous curves of Micra onto which she's based. IMO, Its the best looking Hatchback based sedan after ANHC & Linea.  dr_nishu2010-11-19 19:20:
jimgeo 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2010 The back of the car reminds me the Toyota Echo sedan (previous generation of Yaris in Australia). The front looks excellent and side profile resembles a coupe
bluesapphire 1 Report post Posted November 20, 2010 Still the proportions could have been better. It still seems to be a car clearly based on hatch while seeing ANHC, Linea, Jetta, Vento, etc. If you dont see Polo or Golf, you cant say that Jetta & Vento are based on respective hatches though looks same from the front. More pics will clear the story. The lights especially of this could have been a lot sharper rather bulbous. Still doesnt looks that bad but definately looks a car clearly made from hatch but which hatch will be a question as it looks different from Micra. Durango Dude 2 Report post Posted November 20, 2010 Nissan's done a good job; but I'd like the side profile to see how 'neatly' they have integrated the boot with the rest of the car, front looks quiet good and mature, nice grill and chrome surround to it. Rear treament can look better with a little splashes of chrome above the number plate.
carispassion 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2010 The rear end design in my opinion is similar to what maruti has done to DZire. Save for the chrome accent in Dzire boot, Swooping tail lamp for a Sedan; and the high boot line looks similar to my eyes.. carispassion2010-11-20 22:40:
