anjan_c2007
The 1980's opulence: Traffic scene from Moscow in the 1980's More advertisements from the 1980's- The "winds of change" for our till then stagnating auto industry. The Rolls Corniche advertisement appeared as Rolls had Avon tyres fitted as OE. Vikrant Tyres collaborated with Avon and brought out this advertisement. The 50cc m50 preceded the m80. The 50 cc machine was underpowered. Bajaj called these motorcycles and linked their production with the Kawasaki KB 100 after 1987. anjan_c20072010-11-01 17:31:

anjan_c2007
The TIME magazine issues show images from the US. The first one is a news item on the last Beetle produced in Germany. This one shows Detroit's worries with the Japanese imports This one reports of an airborne highway speed check device way back in 1966. This is from 1975. President Gerald Ford on a visit to Illinois state. The two images taken when President Ronald Reagan was shot at by one John Hinckley ( a psychic case) in 1982.The President had a narrow escape and was pushed to his limousine. Again Detroit's worries that brewed with the imports from Japan and other countries. Now its 1992
