nfs123 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2011 I got my Cruze LT last week. Already completed 1000km and just got her back after first service Took cruze after 3-4 months of research other Cars considered 1. Altis Diesel 2. Laura 3. Civic I will do a detailed write up on why I choose Cruze from the above list Pros 1. Power 2. Roard presence 3. Black Interior 4. Low cost when compared to other cars in the same segment 5. Low maintenance cost cons 1. Turbo lag. But I am getting used to it with proper gear shift 2. Hard clutch. Knee pain after long journeys 3. Resale value Will add more details later

Durango Dude 2 Report post Posted April 8, 2011 @nfs 123: Congrats on the Cruze LT. Yes, I agree the clutch is real hard and can get tiresome if you get stuck in Bangalore City traffic. But with time I think it will loosen up; or may be you could get used to it. Gives a real work out to the left leg. The auto variant may have solved the problem.
nfs123 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2011 @?koda Superb Thanks. I will post some pics this weekend. @Durango Dude I didn't consider auto variant for 2 reasons. 1. I am a person who enjoy driving.. I want to get involved while driving and want complete control of the vehicle. 2. Mileage was also a major concern as I have monthly running of 2.5k KM
nfs123 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2011 Forgot to add major one . 3. My Budget was limited.

Aerospeedcars 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2011 Have you tested the top speed and the comfort. Have heard about cruze clutch-case problems after 20 or 30thousand kms from various persons. Care your ride and All the best.
nfs123 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2011 Actually , I didn't get a Good stretch to go above 150. @ 150 the car is under full control. I can easily take turns @ 100 . Biggest thing I worried before taking the car was ground clearance. It easily went through all bad bumbers and roads I know. Clutch is really hard. Aerospeedcars 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2011 NFS@ Do not worry about the ground clearance unless you drive it for the 4x4 bumpy ride. We indians had OHC, Lancer, Escort in our history which is proud to drive still and ever. Drive carefully at the pits and stay safe. AC compresser will be at the bottom in most of the cars. If you are a victim of those, please be concentrated more while driving. Aerospeedcars2011-04-16 15:23:
