Thanks for sharing the pics bro.

But this isn't a modified Polo, instead its a PS editing job done on a Polo standing on assembly line at VW Chakan plant.

I've seen the un-edited avatar of this pic earlier.

B/w now I'm eagerly waiting for All-New Swift 2011 & Polo 1.5l 4-cyl TDi.

Whichever comes first i'll buy that one immediately.

Finally today, I strengthened my heart & finally

had a teasing conversation with Hyundai SE &

inturn he said, he haven't heard this complaint

not even in a single i20 with such problem, sold

till to date.

He even agreed to show his dealership's Service

record register to me to witness his sayings.

He added that even if anybody had got this

trouble, anywhere across the country that might

have cropped out due to the worst road

conditions prevailing there.

Please suggest guys what to do now ! !

Do I consider the i20 again or shall go with Ford Figo 1.4 TDCi TITANIUM as Swift launch still seems to be far away.

Why not a Ritz if you in hurry? Its sturdy(compared to Swift), spacious with MJD.

Also try to delay till Beat is out. Beat would deliver you 3yrs peace of mind, magical FE, ok power, better AC(than i20), killer looks and would save a lot in cash.

I have been a thorough supporter of the i20 and the Figo. Both are great cars with companies who have a reasonably good work ethic and take good care of their customers. Also, their sales records are a story in themselves. I personally would go with either of these cars.

Due to its Taller height & my heavy Highway usage i'm not considering Ritz.

Also I didn't liked its Rear looks & Outside Road visiblity.

Hey doc, since the beginning, I am suggesting you the I-20 as the most ideal vehicle for your requirement. So my vote goes to I-20. Though you can not discount Figo for it's value proposition. If you are comfortable with it's Low GC, front seat spacing, ASS in your area, you can also go with Figo. Take TD of figo where roads have lots of potholes and bumps and check its' GC, ( I think I shouldn't  need to tell you this, but just reminding you before you finalize.) So out of these two, you will not be grossly wrong for sure. All the best.

@Nishu: The more you delay the more confusing it's gonna get. Your hatchback blues thread is starting to look like the mega topic started by akj53in on Fiat Linea, which got lost after the "crash": that topic could be the called the 'mother of all topic's'.

The reason behind not taking polo was its 3 cylinder engine, and beat diesel is also 3 cylinder ....so might be Mr. doctor wont opt for it.

And Thanks doctor for this brilliant thread.(This thread will be a play a large part in my decision for diesel my hatchback)

@DD;

I'm not delaying it intentionally but its the New Swift launch delay which is delaying my decision. Maximum i'll wait for it till mid this july, if it comes then its ok else I'll go & book Figo TDCi.

Even ACI-ian Creativebala is also accompanying me for the New Swift wait.

@sourabh;

You guessed exactly right.

Due to 3-cylinder engines i'm not interested in Polo & Beat D.

Hi Guys,

Am new to this forum.

All set to exchange my 8 yr old

Alto for a new mid-size car. I have narrowed down to the i20 magna

(petrol) and the Ford Figo titanium, since my monthly run is less than

700 kms.

Am a little apprehensive about fords service and long term

presence in India. The i20 is more style & comfort  but poor fuel economy...less features. Need help

to decide. Please Suggest

Hello All,

I am planning to buy new a car in the range of 6-7 lacs (on road price). My daily monthly usage will be somewhere around 600-700 km/month.

Please suggest a good car in this range and whether should I go for a Petrol or a Diesel version.

Thanks

Abhishek

@Nishu

My brother in law is buying in the same segment, but has deffered it after seeing RIII renderings on my insistence. My theory, Dzire price goes down or remains same after new one is unveiled under 4 metres. RIII now gets slotted between SX4 and Dzire
