If I remember vaguely the bhp was probably mentioned in my old Padmini (1979) and possibly the M800 (1987). After that it is cc all the way. I suggest you just ignore the RTO and look at the manufacturers figures. There used to be two forms though SAE and DIN. the former was with no accessories like water pump, etc. So DIN was more representative of what you will get.
