punjabi 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 TATA FIAT AINT ABLE TO FIX THE BRAKE THROBBING PROBLEM ON MY CAR, AFTER REPLACING BRAKE PADS, BRAKE DISKS, BRAKE SPINDLES, CALLIPERS. AND THEY INSIST THAT THEY CAN FIX THE CAR, THOUGH THEY DO NOT KNOW WHICH PART IS GIVING PROBLEMS AND WHAT THEY NEED TO REPLACE. CAR IS 20 K KM AND HAS GIVEN MAJOR PROBLEMS FOR 1-3000 KM AND THEN 13000 - 20000 KM. GEARBOX NOISE IS BEING TERMED AS NORMAL, THOUGH I THINK THEY OUT TO DEFINE THE TERM "NORMAL" PLAN TO GET INDEPENDANT EXPERT TO ASCERTAIN THE CONDITION OF THE CAR, ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHO IS A "EXPERT" ACCEPTABLE TO CONSUMER AND OTHER COURTS IN INDIA?? Durango Dude 2 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 @ Punjabi: I think you can contact Customer Support (Grievance Box) on the Fiat India Website: http://fiat-india.com/index.aspx and air your dissatisfaction there.
punjabi 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 Thanks Durango The issue is escalated to highest levels in Fiat and even to Shri Ratan Tata, but the response is "ice cold". I am looking for a neutral 3rd party expert who can evaluate the car and issue certificate of defects. This will help me later, if i need to go to Consumer court. TSiVipul 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2011 Well one more hellish example of the service provided to the Fiat customers.Just follow the steps mentioned by Durango Dude and after that go on for an independent mechanic. Why don't the Fiat split up and open its own service centers with experts?

How great image Tatas are setting in the mind of customers. Are these schemes meant for Fiat customers only or the Manza too comes with such schemes. Today I am praising the Tatas for eclipsing such a brilliant car by their deeds. I think you really need to complete the homework and take some legal action against them. punjabi 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2011 I spoke to legal head Mr. Bagga today, he suggested that if i was not satisfied with the car, i should sell it off. Amazing level of cheekiness. First he agreed to document plan for repair ( since i am quite certain they have not been able to find out what is wrong with the car), later, towards end of call, he said that document about repairs and fault analysis will be provided only after repairs were completed. Today, i sent an email to Carl Peter Forster, i hope he is professional enough to take action....
