dr_nishu 198 Report post Posted March 12, 2012 Vento diesel gets Comfortline variant Vento diesel gets a third mid-spec variant priced at Rs 8.56 lakh. Volkswagen has launched a mid-spec variant of the Vento Diesel called the Vento Diesel Comfortline. This variant sits between the lower-spec Trendline and the more up-market Highline variants. The Vento diesel Comfortline is on sale at all Volkswagen dealerships at Rs.8.56 lakh ex-showroom Maharashtra and Rs.8.74 lakh in rest of India. The Comfortline variant gets body coloured door handles as also mirrors and front and rear fog lights. Inside it gets radio with CD and MP3 player, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors, height adjustable driver seat and rear centre arm-rest above all the features in the base Trendline trim. rssh 59 Report post Posted March 12, 2012 Its a missed oppurtunity by VW they could have offered ABS as standard is this varient atleast . The Rapid Ambition has ABS and driver airbag with 10% cheaper price .
rahul1810 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2012 There are 3 big things going against Vento 1. Hyundai's After sales service 2. Skoda Rapid- People think, I am taking a risk with VW anyway. Why not take it with Skoda and get the same car at lesser price. 3. Nissan Sunny- By introducing a good spacious feature rich car, with all the features and decent quality interiors, few people think that VW is not robbing them. Nissan Sunny XL, with all of Comfortline's features and ABS+Airbags costs 1 lakh less. What can VW do to counter it? I can't see any solution except providing 4 years maintenance which may help a little but not a lot.
