creativebala 178 Report post Posted February 1, 2012 Mahindra Xylo has refreshed the looks of XYLO family. As a result, the existing Xylo would start to look best when compared to the outgoing model. - Img Courtesy, Dieseling of TBHP This also implies, the Shorter Xylo(or say proportionate), with this front will have Killer Looks. This should bring back some of the future customer who would run to Ertiga because of looks alone. Now the Xylo is not an Eyesore anymore. creativebala2012-02-01 12:17:
Durango Dude 2 Report post Posted February 1, 2012 This doesn't look like a mini Xylo, looks like a mini XUV 500.
Sstar 77 Report post Posted February 1, 2012 stylishly done face lift. Now loos more grown up kid in market. Any speculations about mini xylo...?? There is no sound on this or perhaps I am not hearing it.
Flywheel 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2012 Nice face lift. The car looks more mature now. Looks like all the manufactures are preparing for a big fight in this 7-10 lakh SUV/MUV segment.
sekardhana 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2012 Good competitor for Ertiga. Next few months will be interesting with the launch of ertiga, duster, ecosport and probably mini xylo.
tejasmehta990 4 Report post Posted February 2, 2012 It doesn't looks like facelifted XYLO but it seems entirely new vehicle from M&M. Probably M&M want to introduce yet another semi premium SUV inbetween Scorpio and XUV500. The design is very neat and not overdone.
neerajd 7 Report post Posted February 2, 2012 Definitely a face lift Xylo. The center console bump makes it quite evident. A chrome tooth like the Scorpio or the XUV5oo will make it look even better. Killer looks..
pakaw685 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2012 I have to agree with neerajd. It looks like a Xylo face lift. On a side note I wonder if this will be carried over to the Mini Xylo???
AMG1 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2012 This is a facelift for the full size xylo for now. Story cmg up on ACI shortly with another pic.
tejasmehta990 4 Report post Posted February 2, 2012 I feel it's New Scorpio.
creativebala 178 Report post Posted February 2, 2012 Now, who will buy a scorp? This one is a Lakh cheaper, can seat 8 comfortably and is going to be powered by MHawk, so this will eat badly into Scorp's sales.
Sstar 77 Report post Posted February 2, 2012 I would say scorp will be a scorp with more musculine character. So may be the impact of this face lift may not be that much on its elder brother.
pakaw685 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2012 Should not affect Scorpio sales since it is considered an SUV whereas the Xylo is a MUV/MPV.
Sstar 77 Report post Posted February 3, 2012 Should not affect Scorpio sales since it is considered an SUV whereas the Xylo is a MUV/MPV. Excatly what i was pointing out. More muscles, more bullish, more SUV - called scorp.

dr_nishu 198 Report post Posted February 6, 2012 New facelifted Xylo pics: New Updated Front Its is much more balanced, Sharper & Sporty now. On a lighter note, Its front just gives the hint of its resemblance with Mahindra Gio mini-truck. Blackened all-around Pillars. Updated Interiors of Xylo top-end(to be called E9 variant), which now features Steering Wheel from Scorpio alongwith Driver & Passenger Airbags. MID is already a feature in Xylo since its launch. dr_nishu 198 Report post Posted February 6, 2012 Can we also expect to see new xylo mini as well on Feb 8? No, you've to wait for another couple of months for that. As its undergoing Cold Weather trials in Northern Europe now a days. By now i.e on Wed 8th Feb, we'll be getting a face-lifted full sized Regular Xylo only. pakaw685 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2012 Love the blackened all-around pillars. No changes have been made to the rear ?? SO the mini Xylo wont be expected until the later half of 2012??
neerajd 7 Report post Posted February 7, 2012 Blackened out pillars look awesome. There's a hint of roof rails as well. This MUV looks more appealing than ever now!! A tweak to the interiors would have been more appealing I guess. Those protruding AC vents still look a little funny.. I even feel that there has been a little tweak to the rear end as well. The bumper has got sharper looks... Shouldn't be an eyesore now

But this mean it is not going to be so soon at all. May be a Diwali launch or end of 2012. Will the price be any where near to 4.5 lacs for base variant? Just putting this question to know it better.
