Actually this kind of facility is available in Madhya Pradesh for quite a long time. Surprisingly Mumbai which is considered a metro had got online vehicle records few months back only. If I am right there is Vahan website as well. We should be able to get the same details from the website. Any idea what the link is? Message getting in reply is, 'Verify the vehicle No or Contact Registering Authority for Digitization the details'. Any Comments from Punjab-ites are Welcomed. Any one seeing a car parked can sms redg no and get the details. What do you all think ?
