dr_nishu
To me its Alloy design also seems to be different. While Tail-lamp elements are also reversed i.e; Red brake lamp is in the place of white(fog/reverse & indicator) one & vice versa. C'mon, You guys also, try to spot on the other differences. neerajd
I suppose it also gets smoked head and tail lamps. And if at all, it may get side turn indicators on the ORVMs. Apart from that, the car looks pretty much the same. Some new paint shades as mentioned. What would be a welcome addition is a provision of power windows for the rear seats on the top specs.

creativebala
and also' date=' complete roll-down of rear windows?[/quote'] That's never possible with current body panels. This could be testing the 1 litre ecoboost engine and giving us a sport version

sanzgod
I hope Ford does something about the underbody scrapping issue which has been experienced by many people using it. when i put the same question to the SA before doing a TD of Figo last month, he replied... "sir, ground clearance is 168mm sir, which is almost equal to any other car. its the plastic mud flaps(other cars get rubber mud flaps) which are causing the problem when driven little rashly over speed-breaks" - i was convinced... Sstar
i would also expect some slight increase in FE, especially in TDCI version.

In most of the forums, owners have mentioned this issue. I am not an expert but it seems to be a collective outcome of longer wheelbase, somewhat lower GC (most cars of this segment have 170mm+ GC) and probably a softer suspension setup. creativebala
@Sachin, Spot on you are. A combination of Soft suspension, longer Wheelbase, shorter GC spoils the goodness of Figo/Fiesta in Bad roads. On top of this, most of our guys brakes at Speed breakers. On doing this, the car lowers and hit badly. One of the key solution is Bring the Car to complete halt before speed breaker and accelerate while crossing it. dr_nishu
This facelift features bigger & better Headlamps for better night lighting, being a prime issued expected to be addressed in this facelift. Technical changes can be rarely seen in this Gen of Ford Figo. Expect them in next-gen Ford Figo which is expected by 2014. IIRC this facelifted/Refreshed is expected to be launched by Jan-2013, as Ford India revealed in its plans few months ago.dr_nishu2012-06-21 18:55:

gurrala74
However the face lift, but I see the following change at on the road in Hyderabad these days. More New Swift dezires, I 10s, New Hyundai Verna, Beat Diesel,Punto and New Swift and Ritz diesels. No new ford figo vehicles are seen on the road
neerajd
@gurrala: probably signs of a facelift which Ford realised From the pictures, I can also see a little bit of additional ground clearance added to it. Only a raise in suspension/stiffening is going to affect the drive...
gurrala74
We are 3 close friends bought the cars same time Ritz LDi, Swift VDi, Ford figo Titanium last year. We quite often interchange our cars for driving, hence we share lot of things about these cars. Interesting facts are like below My Swift friend likes his car and my Ritz, but do not like the Figo as he says car is very good but lacks in seating comfort, head room is less and turbo lag, makes more noise, but at the same time praise it for its looks, road grip I as Ritz user, Likes Swift more than Figo, but I like Figo for road stability and grip on the road, but complain about its seating which is not at all suitable for me being 5'10" and long legs, not much head room. I enjoy sitting in its rear seat which is more comfortable than my ritz, but I do not like the rear windows which do not open fully and it hits the speed breakers very badly My Figo friend likes his car much and next he like Swift and then my Ritz. He likes Swift for its handling and FE He likes Ritz for its space and head room. He often complain about his Figo for its cabin noise which is more than Swift and Ritz. I think you remember some 3 ***** story !!
dr_nishu
bigger lamps do not necessrily mean better illumination, my friend necessarily But since, Ford admitted that they're working on Figo face-lift based on their Customer feedback studies. So, one can assume the change when it's also seen physically(as in spy shots).

CarCrazyASTL
In crowd of all the upcoming launches in car market, one car is loosing the hype, it created & create to the much greater extent! "‘Toyoubala’" from TheAutomotiveIndia & ‘mohandasnikhil’ from Team-BHP.com caught it! Have a look! Thre is nothing Ground breaking, but It'as undergone a proper plastic surgery to bring it in the main streme! we can notice the hexagonal grille which is the new ford design language in action. The head lamps and the fog lamp housing have been redesigned and so is the new chrome embellished grille. The new 8 spoke alloy wheel design has also been refreshed and is now inspired by the new Fiesta’s wheels. A chrome strip has also been added to the tail gate to make the rear look more premium. The biggest add on is the ‘kinetic blue’ color option on the Figo which makes it look very fresh and sexy. The color option originally debut on the new Fiesta which made it look very vibrant and lively. I hope that this yellow colour will also do similar magic! Guyz @indianautosblog.com claim that, Ford india officials have confirm it's launch in Diwali & there are rumors about option PowerShift automatic gearbox on figo! Share your views on it!
