CarCrazyASTL
Whenever I'm riding pillion or in passanger seat; No matter how experienced the person behind the wheel is, I always feel uncomfortable! Such Incident happen recently. When I was travelling from Pune to Mumbai; Till Lonavala I was behind the wheel, (in Ford Fiesta 1.6 SXI) I touched 150-170 Kmph & From lonavla my driver took the charge & as soon as he passed 80 Kmph, I'd goosebumps all over my body & I told him to be careful! & he was shocked & he told me, "Sir, you were touching 150-170 & I've not even crossed 100! So don't worry!" I wan't to ask you that is this something happening only with me? or every petrolhead has similar experience? Apart from this I doesn't prefer a chauffeur, as following pt.s : One Seat of your vehicle is blocked. You can't discuss something private with your friends n' family. You have to take care of him (food, mood & timing). You've to dicide yor schedule by his conviniece. You are always tense as a underqualified person is controlling your loving & expencive vehicle! librankur
Not just that if a vehice has to be DRIVER dominated only , people prefer the base variant of vehicles aka commercial purpose. Another thing is that they prefer a lesser powered vehicle if it has to be completely in the hands of a DRIVER for both the cars and their own sake. I wont say that they are underqualified buy yes they are more often careless and if that vehicle is part of a commercial fleet they are down right abusive with the vehicle because they know they will get a newer vehicle in 1 - 2 years

creativebala
+1 carcrazy. The F2D cars should be avoided while planning for Chauffer driven cars. We have employed so many drivers so far, but for one, all other drivers enjoyed the FUN swift offers.
