For Petrol fuel option, Maruti DZire petrol is the best option. Its having on the best Fuel efficiency in its segment, is Inexpensive to maintain in long run, is having relatively lower cost of spare parts as compared to its rivals & is most fun to drive of the all you've listed above. Though Ford Classic 1.6 petrol might outrun her on driving pleasure but it fades against DZire on all other fronts.
rahulgupta3101 1 Report post Posted July 29, 2012 hi, Given your requirements, I would go in for Ford fiesta classic. It is the most fun to drive of the lot, is comfortable and parts are reasonably priced too. Ford's in India used to be expensive few years ago, but the spare prices have reduced a lot over the past five years with local manufacturing. Nissan sunny is also a good buy. It is modern, has the longest wheelbase but after sales service could be an issue with the limited dealer network. Fabia has the brilliant ride comfort but spares could be expensive. CarCrazyASTL 16 Report post Posted July 29, 2012 If you are going to drive is self driven Then close your eyes & go with classic! It's a perfect package of performance, comfort & economy! ( I own one! & I'm quiet happy with it!) If you are going to take backseat, Go for Sunny! It looks & feels more fresh as being new, but punch is missing! Though being a hatchback, fabia offers you much of a sedan! So If you want something Compact yet classy, It's indeed a good choice! Etios & Dezire doesn't even stand in front of this vehicles! Would love your feedbacks in terms of mileage, maintainence cost, spare cost and driving pleasure and comfort.. Awaiting your valuable feedback... My suggestion, 1. Ford classic Reason-Its a drivers car,you will enjoy driving it all day. -We have ford fiesta(classic) 2009, done over 1lakh(106500) kms till date, thier extended warranty really works well. -Personally satisfied with service. 2.Nissan sunny Reason-Fantastic space. -Decent ride & handling. -Latest entrant. -Our relative has micra & service in chennai good. Dont go for the other vehicles keep your choice between these two.

creativebala 178 Report post Posted July 31, 2012 Have you forgotten Honda JAZZ? Its the best in your budget, so consider it too. If you are so desperate for a sedan, pay a little more and buy a Honda City.
Ramesh_Joseph 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2012 Nissan Sunny. Ticks all the boxes. Good Engine, good build quality, excellent space and lugguage space. Very reliable vehicle. Reasonable FE. Better than the Ford Classic which is a generation old vehicle. If Nissan has authorized service in your city, no need for any second thoughts.
