Have been hearing that since eternity. Windows phones proved to be a dud!

MS can't create the sort of eco-system Android & IOS have managed to create.

Most importantly it is incapable of creating that hype/buzz around its products, so I won't go as far as waiting for a dumb Windows Phone!Period.

Windows was ahead of time bringing the smart phones & when they didn't sell well; MS stoped research on them & now when Androids & Iphones are hit, they are comming back with Windows 8! & always remember wheter it's a car, cellphone or a candy, it take certain ammount of time to established in market! Android & Apple has also gone through such phases, (Today MS Swift is one of the best selling cars, but when It was launched in 2004, for 2/3 years it wasn't able to cross 4-digit sells!) but mark my words, by 2014 more than 30% of smartphone's will be running on windows 8! Just look at Windows 8 preview on youtube!

Market price ~50k.Period.

Im not upgrading as of now. Saw the 5 in flesh, did not like. Its a dis-proportional device, too long & narrow at the width.

@CarCrazyASTL, Im not a fortune teller but according to the present day market dynamics, Win. phones don't stand a chance. Lets see what's in store for future! Im not optimistic on Win. phones.

First, let me make one thing clear.

I am not exactly an Apple fan. Neither am I a Microsoft fan.

Being a simple and down-to-earth guy, I see little use in the

so-called earth-shattering and wow-factor features these

smart phones, of late, are offering. More often than not,

the products are either ill-suited or half-baked or not

backward-compatible. The so-called ecosystem that these

products force a user to get adjusted to, is highly proprietary

and non-compatible with those existing now.

Even the latest IPhone is not perfect, if one is looking for

perfection in a device. Just look at the Maps fiasco or the

thin and small lightening connector or the little-use 4G LTE

or ....

Apple has got the company of MS, Google etc., also in this

mad rush to bring in such little-or-no-use upgrades or products

at a very high price points and with steep learning curves.

Somehow, I feel people are getting onto this bandwagon and

wasting their money, time and energy on such half-baked,

ill-suited and non-compatible products.

What we need is not the leading-edge products but better suited

products for daily use.

Feb 14 is approaching fast

Confused between a iPhone 5 64GB (WHITE) or iPad 4 Gen 64GB WIFI-CELLULAR (WHITE)

Leaving the screen size alone,Which of them is a better device

PS:

1) iPhone 5 being offered at EMIs now whereas there is no EMI option on the iPad.

2) Asking the receiver is not an option. :D
