bhpcrazy
An owner in Brazil has redesigned the rear of his Ecosport and has gotten rid of the spare tyre from the tailgate. Its now located in the boot. Plus its got roof rails and sweet looking after market Alloys. What do you think? Source
rishiorpe
Removing the tailgate mounted wheel makes it imperative to have a space saver. Even if the full size one fits in the boot, theres practically no space left in it. This removes any sort of practicality from an already cramped car and also handicaps you in terms of off roading ( coz well ,looks apart, why else would you have a crossover?). The looks are a relative thing but frankly, its a shame anyone would ditch a tailgate mounting when people so desperatly put it on 800s and zens and what not . cars4life
Ford of Brazil has showcased three new customized versions of the Ford EcoSport at the ongoing 2014 Sao Paulo International Motor Show. Without discussing the production prospect, the automaker says that these concepts demonstrate the compact crossover’s versatility in customization. The Ford EcoSport Storm is inspired by the F150 Raptor pickup truck, “portraying power and strength”. Finished in the ‘Blue Storm’ exterior paint, the customized version sports an aggressive front fascia complete with a revised grille, secondary airdam and a black bumper which houses a silver skid plate. Body decals, a partly black bonnet, flared wheel arches (finished in black) and 15-inch black alloy wheels with high profile 215/75 off-road tyres are the other lively parts of the car. The EcoSport Beauty and Beast concepts attempt to portray the SUV in two different lights. The Beauty concept has an urban appeal with its matte metallic Copper Stardust exterior color and hexagonal secondary airdam which has stylish LED daytime running lights on either side. Other noteworthy features are side body decals, black roof and 18-inch alloy wheels. The EcoSport Beast concept is painted in a pearlescent Speed White with contrast decals and accents in black, orange and blue. The concept also gets a bonnet scoop, special 18-inch alloy wheels, LED foglamp clusters and a three-slat airdam. Source
