I owe you an apology for being intemperate in my reaction to your take on the Tata Nano.? I think that we should wait to see what the Nano will turn out to be when commercial production begins.? You are entitled to your opinion however and I realise that I have no?right to say the things that I did.? I regret that and request you to accept my sincere apologies

Please don't apologize, I am being overtly pessimistic on the Nano but then my experience leads me to be so unfortunately.

Thanks FRG- The pictures are just like being there. Also Zander your pics with the posing models are also just like being there. This is really caring for the others who have only the mouse and are far away from Delhi.

The Lambo and the Ferrari near the Autocar stall shows the future speed at which Autocar will move on and its rendezvous with Speed..

Today being a saturday, the roads were relatively free of traffic but parking was a big big nightmare. Its been a chilly day, coldest since I've got here. I entered through gate 1 and not gate 7 because of parking hassles. And was lost the minute I got in. **note to self - donot enter from anywhere other than gate 7**. Lot of activity happening, the Tata stall is still full of people trying to get a glimpse of the Nano.

Apart from the Nano, there are more cars in the Tata hall, which expectedly haven't got as much attention as they deserve. There is the new Indica, quite a looker. The new Tata Xenon - should be a good alternative to the Scorpio Getaway, also the new Sumo is on display, much better looking, more spacious and now more powerful too.

Maruti also has quite a big hall to itself. The Kizashi concept is absolutely stunning. It reminds me of the batmobile. Then there are the regular swifts, a delicious swift sport, the splash and the SX4 WRC car.

At the Autocar stall, the Lambo Gallardo and the F430 continue to woo the crowds, with the F430 being a particular favourite. Today is a special day because the exotics are going to be fired up. Im waiting to hear these cars. Pretty sure it will give some sport exhaust stall nearby a run for its money. Right across our stall, the Honda stall has a display for road safety and stunts being performed by foreign professionals on dirt bikes, and a particularly nice looking lady keeping the show going.

My camera is floating around the venue, so just like yesterday, expect more pics.

I had written this early morning, but net trouble delayed the post. Only thing changed since morning is the crowd, its a lot more now. The weather is pleasant and there's eyecandy all around. smiley17.gif
